It's Retirement Time

I finally finished WHM. Thank goodness. I want to thank all those who spent their time in helping me retire.  WHM has been a bitch to level, but I made it to the end.  Thank you Ghostdawg, Kakida, Kirinkage, Naquel, Kainbelmont, and others I may have forgotten the names. 

I finally made the age in a level sync party in the Dunes. I don't really care how gimped my WHM is. I just need it as a sub.  There was only one death for me. But the party was great. We were pulling 2 mobs at a time. We had a kick ass powerleveler, thanks to Ghostdawg.  It took I believe nearly 1 hour and a half. Yay!.

I bought Tele-Holla scroll.  Couldn't get Mea or Dem.

I go and sell off my clubs. Yay! I sell off what I can that I can't use for SMN.

WHM is done. 

Alas I Have Not Made Too Much Progress

Okay Okay ... I really haven't blogged in 3 days. But I have been on the game. I have tried to level my WHM some more. I have tried to complete open quests. I have tried to get fame raised with the help of my friend Ghostdawg. Before I go into any of that I have to make an announcement. CONGRATULATIONS INCHIGO BEATING MAAT ON 3/10/09 WITH HIS WAR!!!! BANZAI!! But back to my story. I have partied with Ghostdawg in Qufim level sync'd down to 22. It was an annoying a party. The WAR in the game, level 27, didn't know how to provoke mob away when I accidentally steal hate. I went into the red like 3 times. I did level to 34 in the party. I had to raise WAR twice. I raised someone else too. There was another party in our camp. They got blood aggro'd which in turn had our party wiped out. That means I died. I didn't level down, thank goodness. I got a raise and I raised 2 people. The other party apologized and helped raise my party. At that point I warped and logged. I get back on next day to chat only. I found out that I got another weapon skill for the club: Seraph Strike. I didn't know I had. Must've got it the other night in E Altepa. I immediately get a party in Kazham. We head to Yhoator. After a couple of fights, I get disconnected. WTF!! I get back on. I continue to fight, but I need to log off. I get a replacement on the way. Guess what? I get disconnected again!!!!!!!! I didn't even bother to get back on. I get on another time to kill some stupid quests that I had open. I decided to finish Warding off Vampires Quest. So I head to Davoi to kill Orc Cursemakers for Shaman garlic. I was there probably 30 -45 mins and got the 2 I needed. I give it to guy in North San D. Unbeknownst to me I had a new title. I found out when some character sent me a tell saying please don't slay me. WTF?!?! What was that about? I look at my bazaar comment, then I decided to look at my profile. Low and behold, my new title was "Vampire Hunter D-Minus". I have to walk around with this stupid title, now. I was pissed. I get on again and my friend Ghostdawg sends me a tell asking me to raise him. Lol. I warp all the way to Qufim to raise him. It's the least I can do since he's been helping a lot. I raise him and then a Banshee blood aggro'd him and killed him again. I had to shout for a high level player to kill the Banshee cause it was a decent challenge for me, a 34 WHM. It would've kicked my ass. My mom called me away for a minute and a RDM came and raised him & killed the Banshee. Then he uses flee & leaves me after a high level RDM raised him. He had to run to an avatar battle. So I go and OP back to San D, then Inchigo sends me a tell and asks if I can help his friend with mission 2-3 dragon fight. I said sure. So I take boat to Bastok to meet. We go to Parlborough Mines. When we got in to fight, I totally spaced on the level restriction. I was trying to cast sleep II. It wouldn't work and then I had to search my whole list for sleep I. I got whooped on by the dragon before I found it. I slept him & cured myself. I cast some elementals and dragon woke up & whooped me again. But the guys killed it. It was pretty quick. One of the guys gave me a warp cudgel to get home because I left mine home. That was kind of him. I get home and checked my profile. Yay!! I'm "Dark Dragon Slayer" Now I can level without annoyance.

Boredom Brought On By Desert Heat.

I got on finally to level WHM. As I turn on my seek flag, I get a party. I leave San D to meet members in Jeuno. We head to Weapon's Camp. Camp was full. We go to Garlaige, camps were full. So we head back to Jeuno to be teleported to East Altepa. We get to camp in E Altepa, close to zone. Great idea. So the party line up is as follows 2 NIN, SCH, BRD, WHM, BST. We had a kick ass time because I really didn't have to heal much. I leveled to 32 in an hour. Since I didn't have to heal much, I was seeing if I could raise my divine skills. I cast Banish every chance I get. I also get to do a little enfeebling. Then people started dropping. We lost SCH, NIN, BRD, and BST. I was able to replace the people with SAM (Ghostdawg), THF, DNC (Naquel), BLM. Then some how someone aggro's a Dhalmel. It killed the BLM, SAM & DNC. The rest of us had to zone. The BLM had to leave. So they left. SAM hp'd to Bastok and fell asleep. I went and rose Naquel. He healed. I was able to replace BLM with a PUP. I leveled to 33 sometime during all the commotion. I was still skilling up my divine. After a while I just got bored. I hate WHM. It's a boring job. So I started to hit the mobs too, instead of sitting back and casting spells. I got bored to a point I told everyone that I had to leave. All in all the following was accomplished: WHM ->33 Divine -> 33 Club ->30 I have 4 more levels until I complete WHM for subjob. I can't hardly wait.

Spending Time in Qufim... It's Been a Long Time

I get on to do LB1 and do my AF2 quests. However, my high level friends are not on except my newly level 70 bro Kirinkage. He was busy doing his Maat fight. When he was done, he said he wanted to level his SAM. Unfortunately he didn't win. So I decided to party with him with my WHM. I had taken the ship to Jeuno already. So while my bro was cooling his heals I went and did the supply run to Elshimo Lowlands. I had to navigate once more in Yhutunga but I some how got to Yhoator. So I continued in Yhoator to head back in Yhutunga further down on map. I get the OP and I warped back to San D. I warp to Qufim to start party. On my way to Jeuno to change, I passed 3 dead people. I raised them. Aren't I nice? Anyway, I got 2 people from the ls ND to party. I got a tell from a SMN wishing to join my party I accepted him. Now the 6th person should have been Oliphant but he was stuck doing subjob quest with someone. So I got a NIN. Party in full swing. We do Field of Valor also. We ran around a lot and then we concentrated on staying by tower. I leveled to 29. 8 more levels before I finish this job as my sub. Not so fond of WHM. The party lost one member then I got someone to replace. Then 2 dropped and then Kirin and I had to leave. All in all my time was not spent in vain. I also got enough exp to level very soon to 30. Next time I'm on I do quests.

I'm Tired of all the Fighting

I have been playing for at least 1 to 2 hours for couple of days now. In those days I got my WHM to 28 and my DNC to 9. I played DNC to help my brother level his SAM. I like DNC in the respect to drain samba and I hit so weak that I don't get hate. I rarely need healing. We probably partied for 2 hours in Latheine and our powerleveler had to heal me twice. It was 3 of us in the party; Kirin - SAM, Inchigo - BST and me. Inchigo died I think twice because his charmed mob lost its charm and killed him. He never died by battle. What I really wanna discuss is how I got my WHM to 29. It was a day that I got home from a stressful day at work. I figured I go on the game to cool off and level. I think I got the second part done. Not so much the first. Anyway, I get a phone call in reallife from Titen asking me what I'm doing on the game that night. I said I was leveling my WHM. He said cool and he wants to join my party with his BRD. I said fine. Mind you we are n the regular phone. I start making a party. I always look for tank first. There weren't any PLDs so I found a WAR/MNK. He agreed to tank. Then my boy Ghostdawg sent me a tell. He asked what I was up to. I told him and he was down to party. He was coming as NIN/THF. So I had 4 out of 6 members. I head to Kazham. I tell Titen I got 4 people looking for 2 more. I tell him what I had so far. Then the bitching started. He just had to get on Ghost coming as NIN/THF. Titen - Why doesn't he sub WAR instead so he can tank? Me - Um, we already have a tank. The WAR. Titen - He should sub war to tank. Me - He's not tanking!!! Titen - What's his name? Me - Why? So you can harrass him about his job? I get a THF/WAR. He agrees to pull. That makes 5 out of 6. Titen - I can figure out who he is anyway? Me - What's the issue here? We have a tank War, puller THF, BRD you, a dd NIN. What's the issue? Titen - He should be tanking. Me - But he is not because we ALREADY HAVE A TANK!! Me - I know how to set up a party. And you're not an expert. Titen - Yes I am. I've been playing for nearly 4 years. Me - Whatever Titen. Nowadays you get what you can get. I don't have 3 hours to wait for the perfect jobs. I get what I can. I get a THF/NIN. Party set. Me - If my friend wants to party with me he can. I don't care if he's a NIN/THF. I already have a tank. Ghostdawg - Yo! This dude Titen is bitching at me about my sub. If it's a prob I'm out. Me - Ignore him. He's bitching at me too; I 'm tryin' to squash it. Ghostdawg - Ok cool. Me - You sent Ghost a tell? Why? Titen - He need to come as a /WAR Me - No he doesn't. I can't believe you sent him a tell. Titen - Yeah. He should sub WAR. Me - Titen this is my party. You didn't set it up. Titen - You asked me for my help. Me -To find new members not to harrass the ones we already have! Ghostdawg - Yo! He still harrassing me. So I just blacklisted him. Me - You did. I'm so sorry about. Ghostdawg - I'm still coming. If there's any drama I'm out. Me - Ok.There won't be one. Me - Titen if you are happy with my party line up, then you don't have to come. Titen - I found my replacement. His name is Vulg. Me - Good. Thank you. Titen - I hope your party goes well and no one dies. I hung up the phone. He's an asshole. My brother was sitting next to me during the whole conversation. He was shaking his head. Then left for his place. The party was great. I leveled and no one died. Everyone got along. And we even had a powerleveler. We partied in Yhoator Jungle. My 3rd time there. I had fun. Unfortunately I had to go in an hour and a half. When I get off my bro says Titen is ridiculous. He said he could think of 2 reasons why he was acting like an ass. 1. He just an ornery asshole and likes to control everything. 2. He was harrassing Ghost because he was my friend. He's probably wants to be the only person I should depend on. So it's his tactic to alienate me. I added a 3rd thought. 3. I think he doesn't have any really good friends to hang out with in the game. I can understand why. He 's a big jerk. (If I was GM Dave, I would feed him to Jorgumand and ban his ass, lol) I really hate having drama in game or in life. I hate to fight. Too much time to do than waste time fighting. Well that's what has happened recently. I'm going on vaca so I won't be playing for a over a week.

Shit Happens When You Are Busy

Can you tell by my title the I'm a bit swamped? Anyway, I'm sorry for not blogging for a couple of weeks. I have been doing a lot of OT at work. However, work didn't stop me from playing. I made the time. I did accomplish some stuff. Didn't accomplish a lot but some. Like my last blog I am gonna jot down bullet points of accomplishments and then explain them later. 1. WHM - Ding 27!! 2. Cooking - Ding 4!! 3. Increase Inventory to 35 1. Well since I haven't been getting parties with my RDM, I decided to level my WHM earlier than I planned. (Original plan: start leveling WHM to 37 when RDM hits lvl 50) Anyway, so I'm in Jeuno and I changed to WHM. I go to Spell shop in Lower Jeuno to gather necessary spells. I think I bought only 1: barsleepra. I remember this spell because I know I have to level in Kahzam until level 30 and those Mandrake things love to put you to sleep. I put my flag up. No takers. So I had to form my own party. I got my bro Kirin (he needed to level his WAR to 37), Ghostdawg DRK, Naquel DNC, a RDM (Noony) and a THF. Earlier I got a call from my ex Titen that he wants me to hold a spot for him in my party. He said he was gonna be on in half hr or so. I said he could replace Kirin as a tank when Kirin leaves for his LS meeting. So we killing and getting exp. I level to 26. So Kirin has to leave so I have to replace him. Just in time, I get a tell from Titen asking to play. I said yeah tank. He had a hissy fit. He only want to play DNC. I told him I already had one but I need a tank. And I reminded him that I told him that earlier. So of course he didn't come. We decided to just find a damage dealer. We continue to kill with just 5 of us. Then we realized that THF was not doing anything for a very long while. It was a concensus to kick him from party. Now I had to find 2 new players instead of one. Then this BLU came into camp running from a gob. He died. I raised him then asked him if would like to join our party. He agrees. Yay! I found one. Then I get another, a SAM. SAM gets killed on way to camp. I go raise him then cast sneak on both of us. We started killing. Then people kept aggroing a stupid gob and dying. I had to raise couple times more. Then the SAM disconnected. Don't know if on purpose or computer trouble. We waited a while to see if he shows back up. We continue to fight with 5 until I find replacement. Then BLU aggros a gob (of course) and tried to zone but died before he got thru the zone. So I had to go raise him. Yay! My enhancing is raising. The more I raise, the more time I have to sit on my ass to get back my MP. Icouldn't find a 6th person. So we just continued with 5 until we just gave up. Had great convos though. Didn't level again because we spent a lot of time waiting for players. Next day, I am in Jeuno and Kirin asked if I want to level down and play in Quifm. I said sure. Guess who was in party? Noony from Kahzam party the day before. I level to 27 in this party. No one died. Thank goodness. But there were a lot of dead bodies around. Then we decided to call it a night in 1.5 hrs. So I didn't get much of a buffer. Next day I decide to go kill in one of the Gustabergs. Yeah.... My favorite place to be. If you believe that you don't understand sarcasm. I need to level my divine magic. That means I need to banish shit. But why Gustaberg? Well I want the OP there so I figure I help out trying to get San d'Oria to get control of Gustaberg, lol. I also went to give Ghostdawg a pearl for my ls. As I get there, Kakida gave me a tell asking me to level sync 15 party in Dunes. I said sure. So did Ghost. I had to chocobo all the way there. When I get there I find Naquel there too. This time she was a bit bossy. Man, she was bothering the shit outta me. Maybe I was just tired. Then Kakida was getting on my nerves too. He kept saying "Good Job" Yes, I am tired. Or is it that I hate this phrase because my boss at my real life job says it all the damn time. Any which way it was bothering the shit outta me. So I told them I had to go. Kakida said to wait so I can get my level. I said it wasn't necessary. I like Kakida a lot. I was just tired and cranky. I forgot to mention throughout this whole party we were doing the Field of Valor training missions. My first time doing it. It's pretty sweet. You get exp from killing objects, but once you finish mission you get even more exp. Now that's sweet. 2. I have been trying really hard to level my cooking craft. It has been giving me grief. I have spent a lot of time in Windurst trying to level cooking. Instead I just got more shit to sell. And more shit to take up room in my inventory and mog safe. So I temporarily put a halt on trying to level it. Normally, it takes up to the count of one to get to next level; ie. 0.1, 0.2 skill raises until hit 1.0 to get to next level. I was getting a lot of 0.2 and 0.3 but I didn't level. I think the game cheated me. Anyway, like I was saying, I was put leveling on hold because I was getting impatient. Then the day after I partied at Dunes with Kakida (see #1 for refresher), I warped back to San D. I then look at my mog safe and saw I only had 56/60 full. So I decided to rid myself of a couple items. I step outside the mog house to do the synthesis. I decided to make Herbal Broth. It's level 5 or 6 recipe. I do 1st synthesis, I lost crystal and a turnip. 2nd synthesis provided 4 jugs of herbal broth. My skill went up by 0.2. I then proceed to make a 3rd synthesis of the same. Then bam! I finally leveled to cooking level 4. About frickin' time. Dammit. 3. When I'm in Jeuno right after Kirin party in Dunes, I decide to try Gobbie Bag quest to increase my inventory to 35. The first time I spoke to the gob in the junk shop he asked me about the stupid cavernous maws. So I am thinking my fame is not high enough. I leave the shop. I go onto Wiki and find out what fame is needed. It says fame level 2. I have 2. So what was the problem? Why couldn't I get quest? So just like Aaliyah, I dusted myself off and tried again. I speak to gob. Same maw crap. This time I decided to talk to him again. Guess what!?! I got the quest. Frickin' A. I have only 1 item of the requested items, so I head to AH to buy the other 2. I can't find the 3rd item. So I look up wiki to find where I can get Steel Ingot. They said in San D or Mhaura at the Blacksmithing guild. Of course I tried to go to San D first. No steel ingot. I am determined to finish this quest tonight! So I OP warp to Buburimu Pennisula to get to Mhaura. I get into Mhaura and finally found the Steel Ingot there in the blacksmithing guild. I OP warp back to San D and then to Quifm. I complete the quest. Boo yah! I got my inventory to 35. There were probably some more little things, but alas, I can't recall anymore. If I remember, it will be in a newer post.

Boo Yah! Level 25 - Captured!

Played: 4-5 hrs I got on to get that last level to get my WHM to 25. I formed a party in Qufim. It went pretty well. I had most friends in the party except 2. One of the 2 I have partied with the whole time I've been in Qufim with my WHM. I had Oliphant (PLD - friend), Chig (BLM - friend), Kirinkage (DRG - brother), myself (WHM), Tyranor (WAR - partied with before) and Zombii (MNK). We meet by tower. We kill, but the experience was getting sucky, so we went inside the tower. The last time we were here, it was me, Inchigo, Kirinkage, Oliphant, Kakida, and someone else and we were murdered. Well I exagerate, 5 were murdered by an NM and me, I died by Seeker Bat as I was trying to zone. However, let's not reflect on that. We get in, & we do well. I did level to 25 before we entered the tower, but the party was too much fun. We started getting bad experience points. Chig never gotten her Kazham pass yet so we couldn't go to Kazham. We eventually had to disband because Oli & Tyranor had to go. I head back into Jeuno and learned the scroll of Raise. Now if I am playing & there's a nomad moogle close by I can switch jobs & raise people. Woo Hoo. I ended up going to San.D.. to start mission 3-1 Infilitrate Davoi. Kirinkage escorted me on the mission. So I meet him at the entrance to Davoi. I changed into my RDM. I throw on invisible & I was good to go. I found the guy I needed to find. I talked to him and we bounced. We head back to San.D.. On our way Kirin and I kill a Battering Ram & I got the spoils. Then we arrived at San.D.. I went to finish up the mission. My next mission will be appointment to Jeuno. I then logged off.

WHM - Level 24 - Rank 3

Played: 3 hrs Got on to party with Inchigo. I spoke with him earlier on AIM. He said I should form a party and that's what I did. It was a pretty good party. We had as follows: WHM, WAR, THF,DNC, BLM, MNK It was pretty good. However, the very first fight I died. But then I was good after that. We played by the tower for crabs. During the party this taru died and this is the convo Taru: Can you raise me? Me: Hold on. Taru: ok, but can you raise me? Me: Let me finish this fight I finish the fight Me: Hey Elmira can you raise that taru? Elmira: Sure Then thf brought another crab Me: Elmira will raise you after this fight Taru: ok Elmira is healing for mp to raise taru Taru2: Can you raise him? Me: I can't raise Taru2: Can't you raise him? Me: No I can't. I'm only level 22 Taru2: Take off level sync Me: I'm level 22 with or without level sync Taru2: You can raise him Me: WHM does not get raise until level 25 Then no more discussion. Elmira was about to raise Taru but he was impatient and hp'd. Oh well. That was weird. They see a WHM and automatically assume that they can raise. Well at least I know the job is wanted at times. I am almost at my goal. I want to take WHM to 25 before I go back to my RDM. I love RDM. However, I'm so confuswed what to macro. I have too many spells. I have more than spells than WHM and BLM. It's a costly job. But I love playing it. I'm a kick ass RDM.

WHM - Level 22 - Rank 3

Played: 2 hours I really haven't played for 7 days. I have been caught up in a book series. I'm still a bit obsessed with the book though. Yesterday, I got on to conquer the pull that the book was holding over me. So I got onto FFXI. I had no idea what I wanted to do. When I logged on, I was my WHM. Just as I said hello to 2 friends, I got a party invite for Qufim. I said okay and I'll meet them in Qufim by tunnel exit. I waited there. I saw Stormghost from my ls VK. He's been there everytime I've been partying in Qufim with my WHM. Just a bit weird. He's soloing in Qufim. Don't think I would solo in Qufim. I hate Qufim. My party finally showed up and we ended up running around the pond killing worms. We also had a powerleveler. What's my job? WHM. It's to heal all in my party. If a powerleveler is doing the same, what am I supposed to do? I can understand if he concentrated on curing the tank and I get everyone else. But no, that didn't happen. He was curing everyone. So I pretty much was partying doing much of nothing and getting exp. I leveled pretty quickly because of the powerleveler and I was not wearing my emperor band. I jumped 2 levels. During the time, couple of people died because they got aggro'd by a Wight & Banshee. I didn't die at all. I was so proud. Ever since I started partying with my WHM, I've died at each party. Anyway, I'm gone.

Travels From The Past to Present

I can't tell you how many hours I played. I've been a bad girl Didn't have time to blog after each day. So now I am going to cram 3 to 4 days into this one blog. I get on as planned to level my WHM. I am still concentrating on getting it to 25 so I don't have to worry about it while I level my RDM to 50. I couldn't get a party as usual so I went to LaTheine to level by myself. I get bored because my linkshell VK was quiet and I don't go on TS because of Shallia. So I head back to San.D.. I checked my plants. I wish I was this dedicated to plants in real life. I decide to create my own linkshell. It's called Tiger's Domain. Of course, you'll always find the word Tiger in any name I create. I tried to get the bubble to be orange but it came out pink. Lol. I don't know anything artisty or computer graphicsy so it came out all wrong. I can't change it now. Titen comes on and sends me a tell. He asks what I was doing. I said I just created my ls. He asked if he can join. I said sure. He said he'll be right there. I said I would be in E. Ronf. Trying to get some flint stones from the worms. He gets there. I give him a sack. He helps me get some flint stones. He also gives me like 7 stacks of dark crystals. I need ice crystals though. I am trying to level my cooking, which is still level one and I joined the guild. I did cook pebble soup though. I tell him I'm heading off. It was late. I get on another day And I was able to get a sack to Inchigo. I went partying in the dunes with my WHM. Bad party but I ended up with a new party. First party was leveled down to 12. The next party was my level so it was cool. I ended up dead twice this day. The first time the whole party was wiped out. The second time I was heading home and a gob got me. So I HP'd to Jeuno. I call out sick the next day because for the life of me I was sick. Since I had nothing better to do I get on early. I managed to get a sack to Oliphant. I was bored so I asked what everyone was up to (Oli, Inchi and Titen). Oliphant said he was doing quests. I asked which quests was he doing. He said he wanted to unlock DNC, NIN, and BLU. I decided to do DNC with him. It required us to run around Jeuno, then San D. And back to Jeuno. The last part though required us to go to the past. We go to the cavernous maw in Battalia Downs. Since this was both of our first times we didn't know where we would end up. He ended up in Rolanberry Fields and I got Battalia Downs. I was pretty lucky. I could've ended up in Sauramonge Champaigne or where Oli was. I had less ground to cover. I slap on Sneak and Invisble. Those spells didn't last very long. So I had to keep stopping and slap them on again. I was so close to Jugner Forest (my destination) when my invisi wore off right in front of a Tiger. Of course, I died. Titen happened to be in the past too. He came and raised me from the dead and healed me up. I slapped on invisi and sneak and headed to Jugner in my weakened state. I made it to the zone. I stayed in arch way in Jugner to heal after weakened state wore off. I slap on invisi and sneak again and head to lake. I didn't have much trouble. Jugner didn't have too many baddies. I get to lake find the ??? for the quest. I opted to warp home and not go back from whereth I came. So I used my warp scroll. I then head to finish my quest. I unlocked DNC. Oli was still in the past. Titen went to help him out and they both ended up dying. I log off to make dinner. Told them I'll be back. After dinner I log on to find Oli is still questing. This time he was questing for BLU and Whitegate items. I join him in doing the Whitegate items. I meet him in the dunes. We get 3 out of 6 items from the Dunes. Then we head to Gusgen Mines in Konschtant for a magicked skull. We were in there for at least a half an hour. We get on ship in Selbina heading to Mhaura in order to get to Burburimu. Then Inchigo met us in Burburimu to get Dhalmel saliva and bloody robe. We did some farming. Not I though. No room in inventory :(. Oliphant left me and Inchi at beach. Then Inchi and I went to warp home to San D.. I logged off in San D. I was tired. Next day I decided to try out DNC. I went out killing. I managed to level to 5. Then I decided to do the halloween event. San. D. NPC's are dressed up in Halloween gear. I got a cloak and a necklace that will teleport me to San.D. chocobo stables. I head in. I then teleported to Qufim as RDM. On my way to Jeuno, I died by Dancing weapon. Got me where I wanted anyway. I go to Tenshodo to hand in items for my Whitegate pass. I also checked my plants. I log off. I get on next day and as my WHM. I thought I was still on my RDM when I got a party invite in Qufim. I accepted. I told them I'd be there when I get an escort through tunnel. I don't have sneak at level 18 WHM. I happened to see Oliphant online and I got him to escort me. I died though. There was 3 dancing weapons and Oli only got 2. The 3rd got me even though I was standing still. Oli raised me anyway. I made it out to my party. I partied until I hit level 20. I died once in the party, but the whole party was wiped out. I get to use sneak. I found my replacement and headed to mog and I shut down. I was tired. Plus I had to work today.

WHM - Level 17 - Rank 3

Played: 3 hours Got on again to level WHM. Screw Heroes. I can watch it on NBC.com. So I get on and played by myself for an hour and 45 minutes. I just leveled at the end of the 45 minutes. On my way back to San.D. I was bored. I got my friend Kakida to party with me with his RDM, level 18. On the way there Inchigo was asking what I was doing. I told him I just one guy to party with me. So Inchigo decided to join as his DNC, level 15. We OP warp to the Dunes. We head to the Oasis. I got a BRD, level 15 to join too. So, it's just the 4 of us. We all can heal, which was great. So we took a Gob and a Snipper. Then we moved camp to J-8. I don't know the name of the area. We took on Snippers. Then we got the occasional Bat and Hare. We did pretty well for just the 4 of us. After an hour, we decided we were going to disband after Inchigo leveled to 16. That took another 15 mins. All in all, it was a fun party. I got my WHM to 2.1k out of 4k to level 18. I can go buy Shellra now. I think I will probably level WHM to 25 for now, before I get back to my RDM. That way, I'll have raise and I don't have to level WHM for a while. I can take my RDM to 50 without any issue. Plus, I'll automatically be able to use Raise once my RDM hits 38. I'm still on schedule as planned. I am not concentrating on SMN & THF for a while. During the time on I got onto ls TS. I said hello to all. I found out Shallia was on so I switched my ls to VK. I will definitely create a linkshell. I will invite all previous ls people of KC and other friends. I don't want to be on a ls where it's too congested where you can't get an answer to a question or help and a where you have people that don't like each other. That's my goal.

WHM - Level 16 - Rank 3

Played: 3 hours (10/11/08) Got on to level my WHM. There wasn't anyone looking for a WHM. That was truly strange. Everyone always looks for a WHM and PLD. A healer and a tank. So I decided just to go out a kill on my own. I head to LaTheine to level. I was out there for half an hour before I started to get bored. So I head back to San.D. to change my sub job to SMN. Then I headed back to LaTheine to continue to try to level. I was out there maybe 20 mins before I get a party invite. So I had to meet them in the Dunes. I head back to San.D. To change my subjob back to RDM and then choco'd to Selbina and changed my job there. I head to Lizard camp, by myself. I didn't get any aggros. I met my party. Consists of RDM, THF, WAR, WHM, SCH, and PLD. We finally set up camp. We were level sync down to 12. We took 2 lizards and got gimpy exp. I suggested we go into main part of Dunes, maybe Oasis. So it was finally decided that we were to go. WAR and myself asked leader to take off level sync just in casewe get aggro'd by something tough. She flat out said NO. So I just warned them that if I die, my HP is Jeuno and I am not coming back. So we made it out to main area close to Pugil beach. Then for some reason we started running North East. Then we zoned to LaTheine. I asked why did we do this. Leader said one member got aggro'd by gob. LMAO. We ran this far to zone. I then ask why didn't we just zone in Selbina. It was a lot closer to where we were than LaTheine. Idiots. If I knew what was going on, I would of just went straight to Oasis. I was talking to my linkshell, VK. I headed back in to the Oasis. So we are set back to level 12. They pull a snipper and we all died. They got someone to raise us. The leader decided to leave and left leadership role to THF character. She replaced RDM with PUP. However, we were just standing around doing nothing. Then someone else left and THF replaced him/her with this DNC who I happened to party with in Kazham (he was DRG then).Then my friend Titen joined us. I asked what we were waiting for. He started to powerlevel us. Just as we start a new fight DNC dropped the party. Son of a you know what, I knew that would happen. He's a 10 yr old kid. THF found another member just as fast. We finally took snippers. At some point I level 16. Then I had to leave. That party was a whole waste of time. It was frustrating. I never want to party with original leader ever again. Let me reprase that. I will party with her as long as she's not the leader. Next time I go on, I will form my own party. As a sad note, I think my favorite linkshell is over (KC). Everyone is now on Toy Soldier, which is cool, but it just doesn't feel the same T.T. I also have my very first person who doesn't like me on the game. That I know of. Inchigo's on the game fiance, Shallia. I may have mentioned her before. But she's just rude. I don't need her to like me though. But at least be cordial, damn. We're on another linkshell again. I don't comment when she's on. But anyway, I'm out of here.

WHM - Level 15 - Rank 2

Played: 4 -5 hours Logged on to level WHM in LaTheine by myself. I get to LaTheine and killed 2 Hares when I get an invite. They are at the Dunes. I said okay. I told them to give me 5 to 10 minutes. I had to go back to San.D. to change into RDM so I can Chocobo it to the Dunes. I was not walking through there at level 11. I asked my brother to bodyguard me. I had to go through the tunnel which will kill me with the bats. And not forget the gobs. I can't take a lick. So he gets me to my party. He sticks around to watch. Darksanzo a guy I made friends with a while ago. He was powerleveling. Then a guy from my ls, Zeeone, came to give me a new pearl for the ls. The original owner of the ls quit. So that means that ls is dead. Fawnaa another member reformed it. The new name is KnightClub. It used to be Forsaken Knights. Zeeone yells at Olihbear because he's in our ls and he didn't give me one. Zeeone starts powerleveling us too. So we had 2 pl's. By time I got there they out grew the lizards so they were taking gobs. I leveled to 13 there. At somepoint we lost darksanzo and kirinkage. I suggest to go to oasis to fight crabs. We all head there, of course I get aggro'd by a gob. Never fails. However, the party was close so we defeated it. We make it to oasis without any more aggro's. Zee and I were teasing Inchigo in the ls. Inchigo has a cyber crush on me. Zee is married to Fawna in real life. We, the party and I, took on snippers, flies, and gobs in the oasis. 2 members had to leave and we replaced them with 2 BLU. During our fight with 2 damsle flies, one of the BLU did an area of effect which caused all the leeches, snippers, and the remaining fly to attack the whole party. I was curing people so a leech attacked me. I cured myself. Then of course I had to cure everyone at the same time, so I cast Benediction. However, before I cast benediction, the BLU who caused it all died. After I cast it, the mob attacked me. I died of course. I had just leveled to 15. I leveled down. After I died, Olihbear died. So 3 out of the six died. Then Zeeone, the gentleman he is, cast diaga to get the mob from attacking. He runs into the desert with the mob attacking. The 3 who lived helped fight the mob. They came back alive. Thank goodness. Zee came back exhausted, lol. He had to recharge his MP. He apologized that I lost my level. I told him no worries, I'll get it back in a fight or 2, which I did. He raised me first. I sat and healed. Then he raised the BLU then Olihbear. We get back to fighting. I turned back to level 15. My tummy growled so I told them I had to leave in 2 fights. Then in 2 fights came, I asked Zee to escort me to San. D.. Then I was telling the party I was going, Olihbear said wait. Just 2 more fights please. I stayed then the party broke up. Zee tele-holla's me and Olihbear to Holla Tele-crag in LaTheine. Zee escorts me to San. D.. I tell him to come meet me in front of mog so he can see my level 20 gear. I come out and he examines me & said it was great. I tell everyone good night on the ls. Olihbear says wait again. Oli is funny. He says it's only 5 pm. I told him it's 8:34 pm for me. He said ok. Then Inchi said my baby has to eat, so let her go. I laughed and said goodnight again. I log out again.

WHM - Level 11 - Rank 2

Played: 3 hrs I get on to level WHM to level 10. I was in Jeuno when I logged on. I checked my delivery box. I was a bit shocked to see a dozen red roses from Titen. I also sold something at AH. The rest of my items were returned to me. That sucked. I then went to Chocobo stables and rented a chocobo. I chocobo back to San.D.. Yay!!!! No dying for me. I get back to S.San.D. to find that the NPC I normally sell goods to won't take anything. I try the NPC close to going home. She accepted my stuff. I sell stuff. I then resell the items I had put up to sell at the AH before. I then go to my mog in San.D. to change my job to WHM. I ask my brother to powerlevel me because the last time I went on, I got mobbed again and died. That's how I ended up back in Jeuno. I had to HP, forgetting HP was Jeuno. So on my way out, I bump into a Taru called Lollipop, THF. I invite her to party. She accepts. We head towards LaTheine, with my brother. We end up in LaTheine. My brother powerleveled us for a while. I guy from our LS, Lordangel wanted to party with me & Lollipop. He invites her to the LS. We kill. He pulls a Akaba that was kicking his butt more than I can cure it. He ended up dying. I felt bad. He said it was okay. He told me next time to use Benediction. We kill some more. We had another powerlevel from out LS, Gihl. My bro left at some point. I can't even tell you when. Then Lordangel said he had to go & left the party. Left me and Lolli. I leveled to 10 with Lordangel. Lolli & I leave the area because just the 2 of us can't handle the Orcs. We head closer to W.Ronf.. Then I get a tell from my bro saying to answer this guy Kakida, MNK, in our LS. He wanted to join. So I said okay. I then find another guy a PLD, named Nichol. The 2 meet up in S.San.D.. and head towards us. I invite them in. We kill and kill. Then Nichol pulls a VT Orc. They nearly killed us. I finally used Benediction. Woo Hoo!! We survived. I have no idea how much exp I got. I just was glad to be alive. 2 fights later, I leveled to 11. I looked at the time and said I had to log at 11:30. I changed the leader position to Kakida. I was about to leave when Nichol pulled a creature (aka mob). I healed for the last time. I waved goodbye to everyone & disbanded. I ran all the way back to San.D. without an aggro. I log off across from AH.

Still... WHM - Level 9 - Rank 2

Played: 2hrs So I decided this is how I'm going to play FFXI. On the weekdays, I'm going to level WHM and then level RDM on weekends. Weekends I can dedicate time to parties to level up my RDM. So on to my story yesterday. So I get on check on to check my plant. It was the same as the previous day. So I decided to play as WHM. I change jobs & gear. I head out to N. San. D. to cheer & dance Mumor on for the Summer Festival. I get bored really quick. So I head back to S. San. D. to head out to E. Ronf. to kill, lol. I kill some easy prey as I talk to my LS {Forsaken Knights}. This guy Inchigo has been making me laugh. He wants me to come party with him in LaTheine. I tell him, I can't cause I was going to log at 8 pm but will be back on @ 10 pm. However, I did decided to go to W. Ronf. when I saw him there. So, in W. Ronf. I started to head SW to meet where Inchigo was. The area was quiet. All I saw one Orc and one Gob. I checked the Gob which was a decent challenge. I was going to get him but the Orc was in the way. So I decide to kill the Orc to get out of my way. Here how the fighting flow went. 1. I attack Orc 1 2. Gob1 attack me while I'm fighting Orc1 3. I kill Orc1 and I attack Gob1 4. Gob2 attack me while I'm fighting Gob1 5. I kill Gob1 and I attack Gob2 6. Orc2 attack me while I'm fighting Gob2 7. I kill Gob2 and attack Orc2 8. I am still fighting Orc2, when Gob3, Gob4, and Orc3 attack me 9. I die - Son of a B@*$^ I called for help from Inchigo, but he was fighting off his own mob of 4 creatures. I must have been caught in a mob that spawned when I was fighting Gob1. So I go back to my homepoint. When I get there, I find this... Hurray!!! At least something good was happening while I was playing. It still has more to grow. I am so excited. Maybe I'll get something good.

Sick Time Turns Into Play Time

Played: 6 - 8 hours I called in sick today because I wasn't feeling to well. So since I had to stay near my computer to do audit work, I decided to play. I get on to level my WHM. I decided I wanted my WHM to be the exact half of my RDM. It was taking me too long, to get points so I got frustrated. I used my anniversary ring. That doubles my exp. I start then my boss called. So I stopped playing. I shutdown. I finished what my boss needed,then I went 2 find myself something to eat. Since I'm sitting in my living room, I decide to play a little. I used my PS3. You know the one I've been complaining about because the TV is dark & I can't see during Vana'diel night time. So I decide to finish up quests that I have open. So I tackle the Prince Peirje Receipt quest. I head to the Chateau in N. San D.. I wander thru the whole place talking to every single NPC to finish this quest. Couldn't find the person. I got annoyed so I left the Chateau. As I left the Chateau, I decide to talk to the guard. Can you believe it? He's the one I was supposed to talk to all along. I spent all this time in the Chateau. Argh! The guard runs in & back out to the castle. He then insulted my outfit. So I thought I was done. I then decided to tackle the lost dad quest. I'm looking for this kid's father in N. San D.. I am going all over San D. looking for this man. I can't find him. So I look at my open mission list to get an idea to where I could possibly find the father. The receipt mission is still open why? I head back to the guard at the Chateau. He tells me I have to go back to the Armor Shop. Duhh! I head back to shop and get 200 gil for the mission. I decide to go back out to level. It's daytime.

I'm out leveling now in W. Ronf. I get closer & closer towards LaTheine. That means I'm getting stronger. I decide to try a Wild Sheep. It checked at decent challenge. I've been fighting & winning decent challenge orcs. I am dying!!! As I am fighting the one Wild Sheep, another decided to attack me too. This DRK/WHM guy saved my butt. I didn't die. So the only lesson I took from that fight was to make sure there isn't another sheep around. So I'm all healed & I take on another sheep. Why did I almost die again?!!!!!? It was only one sheep & decent challenge. DRK saved my butt for a second time. I luv him. Of course, I'm determined, I lose the DRK and then fight another sheep. I killed it without nearly dying. Just barely though. I sit down and heal. I go and fight an orc.

I go back to castle to buy new armor. I totally look like a mage now. I decided to finish the lost father mission. I'm still running around San. D.. Then my brother arrives home. He tells me that the blasted father is in the Weapon Shop!!!!! I would never even thought to go there. Thank goodness for my brother. He said he wanted to powerlevel me, so I said ok. I log off from my PS3 and head to my desktop computer. There, I can see at night. I log on and then I head to the AH. There I see a linkshell member Hungsolo. We chat it up. He's in a new linkshell and he wanted me in it. He sends a sack holder to trade a pearl to me. I accept the trade. Believe it or not, my brother is in this linkshell. That makes it a lot sweeter. They are both great linkshells. I'm still listening to my old linkshell. They are meeting at the AH. I see a few of them. So I go over and talk with them.

My brother finally catches up to me. I tell my linkshell folks bye. We head into W. Ronf. I head close to LaTheine. I target Even-Matches & Toughs. I level to 9. Yippee. I tell my brother I want to change into my RDM to level up in Dunes & LaTheine. We head back to the castle. I change back in to my Mog to change to RDM. On my way to meet my bro in W. Ronf. I bump into my brother's friend Unworshipdangel.I spoke with him for a bit. I befriended him. Then I bumped into Rainewaters again. We say hello. I finally get back to my brother. I tell him about Unworshipdangel. He says cool and to equip my new linkshell. I say hello and my brother introduces me. We run to Dunes. As we enter Dunes I was able to make a party with a DRG and WAR. We head to the Oasis. We fight just the 3 of us, while my brother farms Leeches. Then another WAR wants to party with us. I invite him. Then I realize it was that Joshctc that I had issues with in a previous post when I was leveling WHM. As we were fighting, Unworshipdangel came and powerleveled us. Then the original WAR left, which left us back to 3. Then I level to 19. I decided to get off then. I disbanded and warped home. I shut down.

I talk to my brother and asked him is he asked Unworshipdangel to PL us. He said no. He thought I asked him. I told him I didn't. Then my brother comments that his friends treat me better than him. Lol.

WHM - Level 7 - Rank 2

Played: 3 hours So I am still leveling WHM. I spent 3 hours killing decent challenges and easy prey monsters to level. It took me 3 hours because I don't have on my anniversary ring. I have like 6 out 10 uses left. I kill way more easy prey than decent challenges. Decent challenges are hard to come by. Easy prey are dime a dozen. Easy prey only gives like 15 to 25 exp, whereas, decent challenges give like 40 to 60 exp. Even-matches are 50/50 chances. 50/50 chance you will die and 50/50 chance you will win. Since my WHM can't take a lick, I try to stay to decent challenges. I am going to have to start partying with people around my level now. My linkshell was pretty quiet today. So it was a very un-eventful day leveling.

My 15 Minutes of Fame

Played: 1 hour Well I decided to get on & continue to level up my WHM. I get on and head to W. Ronf.. I check my items to see if there is anything to sell. I do go and sell the Spatha sword that refuses to sell at the auction house. I get like 386 gil at the weapon shop. That was great because it was selling for 300 at the AH with a 21 gil fee. So I made out ahead. I head out to W. Ronf. On my way out, I get a tell saying "OMG It's You!!". I was flabbergasted. I responded with a polite "Hello" and "Do I know You". She said yes. We are in the FFXI guild on Gaiaonlin.com. I was thinking I was some kind of celebrity. So we get to talking. I ended up befriending her. Her name is Rainewaters. So I keep killing as I move along. I took on even-matches and decent challenges. As I get back closer to the castle, I kill easy preys. I head into E.Ronf. from W. Ronf. thru the doorway close to the castle. I was also chatting on my linkshell. I can't help but keep saying this. I love my linkshell. They make me laugh. We decide to hook up on Sunday to party. Looking forward to it. I head on home to my Mog.

Just Another Day as a Nurse

Played: 1.5 hours I finally got back on to FFXI tonight. As my previous post said. I was at the Holla Temple in LaTheine. I decide to run back to San. D. to change into my WHM to level it up. On my way thru LaTheine, I see a Battering Ram. I avoid it & checked it to see if I could take it. It said it was tough. So I keep going. Next you know I hear the loudest growl. I was aggro'd by another Battering Ram. I was trying to run for my life. Of course the sucker killed me. Which was fine by me. I needed to be in San. D.. I head to my homepoint. I enter my Mog house to change my job to WHM/RDM. I change my job and head out to sell goods to the store. I head into W. Ronf. to level. I did pretty well. Once the nightfall took place in Vana'Diel, I took shelter in the castle. I can't see on my TV screen when it's nightfall. Once daylight came I went back out to do some more killing. I leveled up to 6. I killed some more. Then it started to get night again, so I ran back into the castle. This time I sold some more stuff. Then I decided to check the AH for armor, weapons & spells. I then realized I had 2 spells in my mog house. I head back there. On my way there, one of my linkshell pals waved to me. I get into my Mog and got the spell Poisona. I couldn't use the second one because it's for level 7. I head outside to use the spell. Once outside, I see more of my linkshell pals. I wave to them. I use the spell & create a macro for it. I get lazy and head back inside my mog to shutdown.

The Healing Has Begun

Played: 2 hours I decided to play for 2 hours tonight. When I got on, there wasn't anyone to party with. So I decided, I might as well level up WHM because I am going to have that either as my subjob to my RDM or have my RDM as my subjob to WHM. However, my RDM needs over 3k points before I get to level 18 for the subjob quest, so I will have to party to get the exp points. I change jobs at my mog house then head out to AH to buy a club for my WHM to use. I did buy 1 spell, Banish. I didn't buy anymore because I have a good chunk of them already. They'll be available to me as my level increases. I decide to play in E.Ronf. because it's close to home. I go out. In 3 fights, I'm level 2. I can use Cure. 3 more fights, I'm level 3, I can use Dia. It goes on like that until I hit level 5. As I hit lvl 5, I saw a guy, same level, so I asked him to party with me. He says sure. Then he says, "Don't Join My Battles". That's the whole purpose of partying. We took an Orc & a Fungar. So I got fed up & disbanded the party. He sucked. I could do better by myself. I decided to try an Even Match Beetle. He kicked my ass. My brother was hollering behind me. So of course I died. I am no longer scared of dying. It's a part of the game. I did not level-down either. I just went back to my mog house. Then I remembered I had the spell Banish. If I remembered it during the fight, I would not have died. I could kick myself. I shut down for the night.
