It's About Time....... Right?

Okay it's been a while that I have posted. This is my busy season as I stated before. Taxes and such, yay! So much for my gaming life. I'm going to break up my adventures in categories that way you can get a gist what I've been up to. There can be days in between but I'm summizing what has occurred.

Maat:
I decided to try my luck at Maat again after a hiatus of trying. Itdidn't go so swell. Normally I'm close to a win, but this try was likemy first couple of runs. The minute he saw me, he didn't sleep and he thundered me and asurian fist me. Instant death. I was trying the strategy to run in sleep him then put on my buffs. This way he didn't put on any of his buffs. Well it was a great thought that didn't come into fruition.

COP:
We tried to do mission 3-5. We got Zannon and Frizzlefry to help us(me, Kirinkage, Lordkaosu and Solesiren). Our other member Gunrockwent ahead and did 3-5 the day we all did 3-3. We tried him like 5
times. We nearly won once. Sole and Kirin both fell when the floor fell away during fights. We would've tried again but most of thepeople had to go to Sky. Next time we try, we need 2 DRKs instead of one. Or a BLU. Anyone with Stun ability. Diabalos is pretty tough. But at least he's one person and not 3.

Leveling:
I leveled BLM to 10. I now have some intereztig spells to work with now. My BLM will be a bit gimp because I am not buying/questing anyaga spells. I may just get sleepga only. Job is only going to 37. I want retrace & warps only. Only reason I'm leveling it as a sub. That and not having to be main healer in some parties.

Skill Ups:
Been FOV'in in Terrigan with Titen while leveling Romidant. First time with Titen, he had to run to camp a turtle in Valley of Sorrows. I decided to try a bunny. Hey if I was able to handle a crab on my own, I should be able to handle a bunny right? Wrong. I had to call for help. Romidant was doing better than myself. I also think my downfall in that fight was I was not paying 100% attention to the fight. I had like 3 people sending me tells and my ls was heating up with good chatter.

The second time we were able to do 2 pages. Romi leveled to 34 (yes, Idon't level him often). My sword skill reached 203 and I learned Vorpal Blade weaponskill; even though I can't use it as a RDM. Titen said that my sword will cap at 250. 47 levels to go.

Fame:
Been doing quests here and there trying to get fame, but it's moving slowly. Items for repeat quests aren't dropping. I started Synergy quest with Kirin. We never completed the quest though. I will probably get Diabalos before I get Ramuh, Ifrit, Titan and Fenrir. We do know Fenerir was going to be last anyway. Have to do fights over again. For all the standard avatars except Diabolos. I will probably help Kakida with Shiva and Garuda to get those whispers.

Dynamis:
Haven't done dynamis in 2 weeks. Last Sunday was Qufim and I don't have access yet. The last one I believe I did was Xarcabard. Again, I didn't get anything since my gloves in Bastok. Oh well. Today there isn't any dynamis because of the Super Bowl. Hopefully at next run Ican get a piece of gear for RDM or SMN. And maybe I'll pass 3-5 by then too.

Now we come to depressing news. My internet is wonky. I am losing packets. So over past week or so we'vr been getting Dc'd a lot. So Cablevision is coming again to try to solve the issue.

Well TTFN

0/1 - You Know What That Is

I get on after a week off from game. I was really busy this week to play. When I got on, I heard they were doing Zilart Missions. So I wanted to join up with them since I didn't have any other real plans on game. I was in Whitegate when I logged on. I forgot I was there. I then decided to leave mog house, assuming the last time I entered from Whitegate, but instead I found myself in Al Zahbi stuck in Besieged. I really didn't want to be there, but since I was stuck, I just decided to try to skill up my divine & enhancing. I got 4 levels on my Divine. I went from 55 to 59. Eh.

So when all was done, I met up with everyone in Qufim. We went to Behemoth's Domain first. There we died because the NM was spawned before we were ready. However, I had my reraise on like a good mage. So we tried again. I had already gotten this stone. We head to Zi'Tah for next stone. The same one that kicked me & Inchigo's ass when I tried it a month or so ago. So we finished with all that, Kainbelmont warped me back to San D.

What to do? I have this old man sitting on my back since I capped my skills & got my testimony. I said I'm gonna try him so I can get the nervous edge off of me. So I load up on hi-potions and fix up my macros. I went out to Battalia to make sure the macros work. I found some to tweek. So I run back in to recharge my mp in my mog house. I went to see Maat. He teleported me, God knows where. The place looked familiar though. I enter buff up and proceed to fight. Well my first binding did not work. So I had to sleep him. All was going well until he woke after my last sleep and did me in with Asurian Fist. Interrupted my recast of Sleep. I lost.

Oh well. I'll try another day after I farm again for a testimony.

Almost Ready For Maat

So I get on to finish capping my magic for my Maat fight & to farm my RDM testimony.

I tackle farming my testimony first. Months back Ghostdawg promised to help me farm my testimony. So I decided to take him up on the offer. I haven't hung with him in a loooooong time. So he decides we go to Quolon Dome. It's in the farther part of Beaudeaux. I hate that place. It ends up being Kirinkage, Ghostdawg, Kron, a girl named Celias and myself. Celias & Kron was already there. Ghost, Kirin & I had to travel there. Anyway we get to the place and there was another party there to get an HNM that was there nicknamed the AdamantKing. It's a huge Quadav. I don't know what it drops. Anyway, they also claimed the Ruby Quadav that we needed. So we had to kill all the place holders to get the Ruby Quadav to pop again. Well we got it but there was no drop. We kill placeholders again. We got him again & this time my testimony dropped. Being in party with Ghost & Kron was like being in a fraternity. All the machismo and testosterone flowing thru words. Oy. It was interesting to listen to. I then wanted to finish up capping my magic.

I head to Whitegate because Phaet said he had some time to help me. Kirin also joined me. So we head back to Alt... Undersea Ruins. It was nice partying w/ Phaet again. So I was able to fully cap my dark and elemental with them.

I dozed off now and then but I pulled it thru to the end. I ended up logging off in Whitegate.

I am now so close to my big fight. I'm a bit anxious. I may wake up early and do it while my brother is asleep, that way, I won't feel any pressure. We'll see.

Kainbelmont Rocks!!!

I get on to try to cap my magic skills capped. This would be my fourth attempt. I've been going to the tree. I really haven't made any headway at all. I was told that Boyhada Tree is the place to be. Only thing that would rise is my dark since it was so low.

So I enlisted Lordgrim to help. He needed to farm in the Tree too. So we meet in Zi'Tah. He goes after the spiders. I think maybe my skills would grow. We run around killing spiders. I cast my dark, enfeebling & elemental spells at them. Nothing but dark rising. As I was running around I get a tell from Kainbelmont. He asked if i still needed magic skill ups. I said yes and I'd meet up with him in an hour. I continue to run around with Lordgrim. I wasn't getting anything. Not even sword skill. I was really getting depressed. After an hour, I told Lord that i had to go.

So I meet up with Kainy in Whitegate. We head to Nyzul from Runic Portal. The actual area is call Alta... Undersea Ruins. We went after the Rat looking things again. So I alternate type of magic skill ups per mob.

I would spam dia on one mob, then dark on another and then elemental on another.

I was getting so many levels in skilling up. I wanted to kiss Kainy out of shear excitement.

I was so excited. I couldn't even get .1 skill up in the Tree. I was just wasting MP in the tree. Kain always brings me to the best places. He's the best!!!!

Before I had to log, I capped my enfeebling magic. And got close to capping elemental & dark. I went to bed happy.

Escapades

I get on wanting to skill up my magic. But since I got the nice 100k from Rank 10 I decided to get gear. So I head to the AH in Whitegate. So I'm camped out at AH searching for gear and talking on LS. I was able to buy a back piece & my ammo piece.

I asked anyone if they were interested in skilling up with me. Crim (DRK) & Kerikris (WHM) decided to come with me. We meet up in Zi'Tah and head to the tree. When we get there, the NM Aquarius was there. Crim decided we should try it. Well, that didn't turn out too well. We all died. Good thing I put on Reraise during fight. After we rose we made our way to the area with the Steelshell crabs. There were a lot of parties there. We ended up forming an alliance with one party.


I still wasn't getting any skill ups and neither was Crim. So when someone in LS said Besieged was at level 8 advancing, we both left to go. I got couple of levels there.

After Besieged, I was able to get party. I figure I can get some experience points in. I didn't get as much of a buff as I wanted to because party had to disband. That made me a bit moody, so I needed to be alone for a minute but I still wanted to play game. What to do?

The solution - Campaign. So I did 3 campaign battles in E Ronfaure [S]. I managed to avoid everyone for the first 2 battles. Last battle, Charion & Minibasta were there. Oh well, so much for being alone. So after the battle I decided to do another cutscene for the Wings of the Goddess missions. The little brats disbanded their organizations. They are cute tho.

Besieged!!! Yay!!!

I get on to do campaign stuff w/ Frizzlfry so I can get loads of Allied Notes. However, when I get on, I sent Frizzy a tell, but I got no response. So I decided to wait a little if I get a response. So I get a tell from a faithful customer, requesting my service for a powerlevel. So I make my way to the Shitadel (Garlaige Citadel) to do my services. There was another WHM powerleveler there too. I warned my customer that I only have time until Besieged (which was at level 5) starts. I joined the WHM in a party. So I refreshed him, while he used Devotion on me. I lasted a good hr or so.

Why don't more WHM use that in parties when there's other mages or PLD's in it? It's a very useful. Giving back MP, hell yeah!!! I say, if WHM wants Refresh, RDM needs Devotion, LMAO. I digress....

So, I leave,place myself in Whitegate for Besieged, which was at level 7, and went AFK for an hour. So I go back to game after chilling with my mom, watching America Got Talent. It's now at level 8 Preparing and It stayed that way for 45 minutes. It was taking forever. I created a party and then joined an alliance. I chatted with Kakida for a while. I even went AFK again. As I was about to go AFK for a 3rd time, it finally started. I must say, I did not die at all this besieged. I got near max exp too. 1727 out of 1820. Not bad for a mage!!! My key is Wizard's Drink, Giant's Drink & Megalixir. My Dark magic rose 3 levels, and my elemental rose 1 level. A bit disappointed in that. I've had more skill ups in other besiegeds. Oh well. After it done, I went to mog house and logged off. It was late.

Heir To The Throne

Fri
I get on to complete Mission 9-2 with Frizzlefry, Kirinkage, Inchigo, and Kainbelmont. We run off to Fei'Yin for the fight. We have to fight 12 Orcs then we must fight along with Prince Trion. We have to keep Trion alive while we fight. I was trying to concentrate on keeping Trion alive. But then I got hit really bad, so I had to cure myself & get back to Trion. In middle of casting cure on Trion he died, so we lost the fight. Kain had to leave, so we are stuck in Qu'Bai Arena. We were searching for a replacement who can sleep mobs. Minibasta agreed to help. He had asked me to help sleep Orcs in the 1st fight. I did my best. We made it thru to 2nd fight with Trion. This fight I made sure Trion stay alive. During healing I was killed & I raised and continued to cure Trion. Then I died again. Then everyone else did too. Trion was the last person alive, lol. We needed more fighters, so we got Demicus to join us. This time, we finished the mission. I got my cutscene. Prince Trion survived. Mini needed some help with some stuff in Fei'Yin so we all (except for Kirinkage) went around and helped Mini. Then I warped back to San D to finish all my additional cut scenes for the mission. At the end I became RANK 10 in San D and I got my flag.

I don't think I will be moving to any of the other 2 nations yet. I really don't like Bastok. That's where Frizzle & Kainy moved to after Frizzle got his Rank 10. Eh, I really don't know yet. Plus I don't want to lose all my OPs that I worked so hard to get., lol.

Sat
So with my new status of Royal Heir, I decided to join Inchigo in skilling up in Kuftal Tunnel. We decided to skill up & fish for the NM in pond in the bottom. We ended up fishing more than skilling. However, it was an awful time because my mom called me every 5 minutes. I left Inchi alone to fight NM at one point. There wasn't a drop tho. My mom was really set on getting & keeping my attention. After a while, my mom decided to go to bed. So Inchi & I continued until we got bored. So we decided to party.


I started a party for Mt Zhayloam for Inchi (WAR) and me (RDM). So I was able to get another WAR, a WHM named Stanislaus, a MNK named Auddie and a THF. After a while we moved camp t o Caedvra Maere. By end of the party, I leveled to 70. I can barely believe it. Me a level 70 player. It's surreal.


To be honest, I don't remember if we partied first or fished for NM first. I just know I hung with Inchi the whole time. I haven't hung with him in a long time. The missions do not count.

Sun
I get on to do something. I don't even know what. I just wanted to be in game. So I saw everyone was leveling a low level job on LS. So I decided to level my SMN. I meet up Solesiren with her SMN in Latheine. The differences between us is that she has Garuda & I have Shiva. It was fun. Then a random guy asked to join our party. We said sure. I think he was either a WAR or THF. We did 2 FOVs in Latheine. The guy was enamored of our avatars. He left after the 1st FOV. We decided we may want to try Dunes on Bunnies. Well we carefully make our way to the Dunes. We both went 2 separate paths. I did not encounter any Battering Rams. Frizzlefry was in Dunes so we asked if he wanted to join us. By time we reached Dunes, he DC'd so we decided to try a Buuny on our own. That was a very bad idea. I died then Sole died. Sole was able to get us a raise. Then Frizzle logged back in. So he joined our party as SAM. The guy who came to raise us also powerleveled us. Then Syco joined us with her SMN too. Then Nimotas joined us as SCH and then we acquired a BLM. So we did FOV's in Dunes too & killed stuff. By end of the night I had attained Level 15 for my SMN.

I'm Not Ready For All That Yet

I've been super busy at work, so here's my list of accomplishments and endeavors. Some fun, some not so fun. Here we go.

Tues 7/14:
I met up with Kakida so we can finish our BLU quest. As I read up on where we had to go, I realized it was the same place me and Kain go to Manaburn. So as I wait for Kakida I check for the sunsand that I thought was in my inventory, to find out I must've either sold or dropped. So I had to go buy another. We finally meet up and I lead the way via chocobo to Aydeewa Subterraine. I tell him he's going to have to use invisible to get by spiders and rats. We get to the area needed. I stepped in and got my cutscene, but Kakida forgot his. I told him I'll trade him mine but not to leave the area. Cutscene teleports you back into Whitegate. I go back to meet him & trade him the sand, then warped out.

Thurs 7/16:
I leveled DNC to 11 with Inchi's RDM. We did FOV in both W Ronf and Latheine. We almost died once together. I had died when I got jumped by a Orc Grappler when I was fighting a Sheep while waiting for Inchi.But I know I leveled to 10. I do not know when I leveled to 11. I got 2 levels in 1.5 hours. Not bad when I didn't use any rings.


Sat 7/18:
I get to do missions, but no one was ready yet. So I looked for a party. I found one in Ceadvra Mire. The party was pretty cool. It was a static party. I was just a fill in for someone who wasn't one. I tried to make it to party. I had to zone back into staging point to survive. I come back out to find a party member fighting an imp. I cured him as much as I can. When he died, I tried to zone again back into the staging point, but I died. I had reraise on, so it was all good. I raised and then raised party member. We then made dash to camp. Party was ok. I've been in better. We had a THF, SAM, PLD, SMN and DRK. They pulled slow and killed slow. Then they had to leave, I didn't get much experience. Oh well, at least it was some.

I head back to San D for what I thought was rank missions for San D, but since Inchigo was not available, we (Frizzle and Kirin) ended up doing Wings of The Goddess missions. A lot of the missions for WOTG are cut scenes. When we started we had to save, as my brother said, some Elvaan chick. Frizzle let me borrow his Scorpion Harness. So I went back to wearing short shorts, lol.

We had to go to Jugner_S to find her and fight NM. However, we died miserably. We needed another dd. We got Phaet to come as DRK. We were able to tackle the fights. We got NM too. We had to go back to San D_S for further cut scenes. We had another NM fight to do in La Vaule (Davoi in present time) but we had to go. Phaet had a HNM and the rest of us were falling out. We were sleepy. So we are on mission called "Purple, The New Black". Sounds like we gonna get our butts kicked.

Sunday 7/19:
I get on to do San D rank mission 8-1: Coming of Age with Inchigo, Kirinkage, Frizzlefry and Kainbelmont. We were supposed to do it on Saturday, but we were waiting for Kain. It was a fight somewhere in Quicksand Caves in Altepa. We have to fight a Sea Horror looking NM. It went pretty quick. Kain had to go help someone else.

After I a while my friend Envoy asked me if he can help me with Skilling up. I said sure. I did warn him that I am not really ready for it, but it would be cool to duo with him since I have never partied or duo'd with him before. He takes me to some strange place in Mount Zhylaom. So I was trying to buff up and he started barking to gravity & bind some mob he already started to attack. I didn't even get to put reraise on nor was I able to refresh both of us. Then he started fussing at me. I told him I was not ready. I don't have a skill up macro made yet. I am totally not prepared to skill up. Spells he wants me to use I don't use, so I have to scroll thru all my tons of spells to find. We died once. Then he barked at me about not having reraise up. I was so frazzled and frustrated. I don't ever want to do that again. If I wanted to be barked at, I would join the military. I just told him that I had to go. I wasn't prepared at all. I did try to create new macros on the fly. They sucked though. I am not saying Envoy was giving me bad advice. It was solid. It's just that he was barking like a drill sergeant. My priorities are a bit different than his. I'm trying to farm for gil, then get 70 with exp maxed, then skill up & then practice fights for maat.

I run off to dynamis in my frazzled state. We were doing Beaucedine today. My first time here. I was put in the BLM party for the first time. At the beginning, my RDM relic body dropped. I made a bid. Kneeru told both me & Aseta to lot. Aseta won the lot. Damn it. He didn't even come as RDM. I died 4 times during this whole experience. I moved to the late comer party because they needed a healer. We were lacking people. Not a lot of people have access to the Outland areas. We did win this dyna. So now I am able to get to Xarcabard now. I will not be able to move past there tho. I need to finish COP 3-5. That's going to be a hard to do.

Tues 7/11:

We met up in Bastok to level low jobs because Gustaberg was open for grabs. So I used SMN. Starfirex joined us. I level to 12. We almost died fighting a goblin in Dangruf Wadi. What do you know, I got a Dangruff Key. Another key for me to add to my collection, lol. We stopped within 30-45 mins. I hate Gustaberg area. It's ugly and confusing. I don't think we helped win Gustaberg, but I got my level.

There's Always a Silver Lining!

Saturday
I get on game and pop over to Whitegate to get party. I throw my flag up along with my search comment say "Level Sync 67+". I get couple of offers that were too low. Then I get an offer from Jeth that's still too low. He was looking for 64. I was tempted just to just take it for the experience points. I asked him where they were planning on partying. He said Bhaflau Thickets. I said no thanks. I don't want to play with the Colibri as RDM again. Then he said they'll do Mount Zhylom. I said fine. I get into the party. The whole party is complaining and bitching about me. They want to do Colibri. I spoke up and said I'm here listening to you bitch about me, so if you want to do Colibri go right ahead, I'm disbanding party. My brother saw what they are saying and said I shouldn't have responded & just disbanded.

Anyhow, I disbanded and now Jeth is sending massive tells trying to get me back in party. I just stated that I do not want to do Colibri's. He said I should be lucky because Colibri is fast exp and I'll be waiting for a party for 4 hours. I stopped responding to him, but he kept on sending me tells. I was trying to have a conversation with Phaet but Jeth's tells were just spamming. I vented to Phaet about it. Phaet went and sent guy a tell telling him to stop it. Which of course, didn't stop it right away. He ended up calling me retarded because I didn't want fast experience. Then Titen was trying to chat w/ me & I told him what happened. So Titen went and sent him a tell too. Apparently Titem must've said something stronger cause the guy logged off. Lol.

Apparently this guy doesn't have a high level RDM as a job. I get parties quickly. Even when I'm in a party I get party invites. I just don't like Colibris. I'm not like other RDMs out there that say they will not join a party unless there's a BRD & COR in party or BRD or COR in party. But the thing I wanted to say. Phaet & Titen were defending me was great, but I was ignoring the guy, so they didn't have to confront the guy. I think he'd give up eventually. But otherwise the spamming stopped.

So with the argument closed, I didn't feel like partying anymore. Beseiged was going to start, so I got a party together for it. Got a lot of my ls mates. Got Koigoro, Panzer (aka Ciddester), Kryscella, someone else I can't remember. Kirinkage came late so he was not in a party. I died once but my Dark got to 107. 93 more levels then it's capped.

After beseiged Kirin & I decided to do our NPC quest that we've been talking about doing for 6 months now. I chose Elvaan Male & he chose Hume Female. It was a total of 5 quests. I had to fight a dragon by myself. I am glad I chose to put on Ice Spikes. But it went smoothly. My NPC name is Romidiant. He's cute and tall. I chose his personality to be calm and collected, but he turned out to be a wiseass, lol. But he still cool. I don't want to hear what he says if he gets KO'd. So Kirin and I went to test our NPCs out in Garlaige Citadel. We fought bats, beetles, bombs, and skeletons. They stay out only for 15 mins I think and once an earth day.


Sunday
I get on to farm with Phaet. Instead of farming, we ended up in Onzonzo to camp/farm up a Mold...vite earring for me. We spent the time annihilating gobs and these other camel/bird looking mobs there. The NM finally spawned and this other RDM chick stole it. Oh well that was 2 hours gone. But the drops from the camel/bird mob are great. So I got some good gil.

Phaet had to go help someone move and I was being called to do duty to do San d'Oria Rank missions. So I left Phaet, or more likely Phaet d2d me. I met up with Kainbelmont, Frizzlefry, and Kirin to do mission 7-1 then 7-2. We did both within an hour and an half. We were half an hour late for dynamis though. I got Rank 8 and 60k in gil. Not bad.

We got a new pearl for Dynamis. Today was Windhurst again. We lost there last Sunday. This is my first time being a party leader. So I got to dole out the hourglasses. I died once or twice this time. We finally won. I now got 4/4 base cities. I can now do other areas like Qufim and Beaucidine Glacier. Yay! I may get a relic piece yet.

It's Been Awhile... I'm Sorry

I'm sorry I haven't been posting my adventures lately. I usually blog my adventures during lunch time at work, but work has been ridiculously busy. With all the stuff going at work,I have accomplished a lot in game. I will try to remember everything I've accomplished. My time was fulfilling and exciting. My linkshell is getting ever popular. I've met a lot of people. Apparently a lot of people have found me. I am getting a lot of tells in games saying they like my blog.

Okay, let's get onto the game stuff. It's been a great few weeks.

We did Dynamis Jeuno on the June 27th. This is like my 3rd Dynamis run. We've been really successful on my runs. I haven't gotten any gear yet. I've don't have enough points yet. However, we won this run. As we congregated to enter, Titen sent me a tell. He had me buy some expensive shit on the AH. He gave me the gil for it. But now people gonna think I have gil, which I don't. So we head in. My console didn't freeze. We make our way to the boss. We get to AH in the zone and we killed the boss. Yay us BLMs & RDMs. I survived the win. However, we still have time, so we decided to farm. Well we got slaughtered. They pull way too many mobs that we can't handle. When both alliances are annihilated you know it's bad. This happened twice before we called it a day.

Kainbelmont wanted me, Kirinkage & Frizzlefry to do Sand'Oria rank missions. So we got together and conquered missions 6-1 and 6-2 that gave us Rank 7 and some really good gil. We fight some sort of fish I think in middle of a pond in West Altepa and running around. Now we need to get our rank points filled to start 7-1 & 7-2.

Sat June 27th we attempted to do COP Promyvian-DEM. We got Loquat, Charion, Sketch, myself, Kakida and someone else that I can't remember. We get thru all the floors with 2 deaths, me & Loquat, but when we finally got to the spire, Kakida fell asleep. So we had to call it a night. We couldn't do the boss fight without a damage dealer. So we left. We made the second attempt July 5th. We had me, Loquat, Charion, Phaet, Frizzlefry and Kakida again. We made it up to spire with 3 deaths, me, Kakida and Loquat. Thank goodness we don't lose experience. We go in the first time, we all died. We made a second attempt. I pretty much kited the add-ons for the mobs. And then we won while I was kiting the add-ons. Yay!!!! Loquat & I got transported to Lufaise Meadows. Our first time there. Yay!! Frizzy met us there and walked us to Tavanzian Stronghold.

Once in Tav, we did quest to get map for the area. It was pretty easy with Frizz leading the way. Had to find a hairpin on one of the top floors. So now, whenever I go there, I will know where I'm going. Yay!! Can't wait to do the supply run there when San D owns it again. I don't even know how to get there, much less what I should do in that area.

Theid wanted to get his AF head for his DRG, so he had to go to Temple of Uppleiah or as I call it Ugglapugala. He was asking for help so Kain decided to have Frizz, me, Loquat, Sketch & Kirin start Zilart Mission 4. So we go into the temple, kill stuff for AF and to get lantern for ZM4. Then on July 2nd, we went back to light the lantern & kill NM for mission. In the end I get back my lantern.

Did some partying to level RDM as much as possible. I was able to get level 69 with at least a 2 death buffer. Meaning I only had 6k into the level. I need 32k to get to 70. Can you believe it? I'm almost 70. Everyone complained that the 60s were a bitch to go thru. It wasn't so much of a bitch to me if you exclude the amount of exp you need to get to each level. I got a lot of parties throughout the 60s.

I also started ZM5 with Frizzle & Kain. They've done most of it the day we finished ZM4. So I got my cement tomb item in Behemoth Cavern. I have never been there before. I didn't know the entrance was in Qufim. I am learning things everytime I play.

I also did skilling ups in Beseiged. My favorite place. My dark is now 104. Pretty good. Just gotta raise it another 100 levels. That's the hard thing to do in such a short amount of time.

We did Dynamis-Windurst July 5th. We died massively. We didn't even beat the boss. My 6k buffer went to 2k by the end. Thanks to keeping up Reraise. It was horrible. It also broke our winning streak. So far, I have gotten San D, Bastok & Jeuno. Needed Windy to be able to get to other dynamis zones. Hopefully we get to go again this Sunday. My sense of not being defeated is pounding in my head.

I Beat My All Time Record!!!

Day 1 (Monday) Got on to party. Needed exp from the multiple deaths in San D dynamus. I get a party of 4 easily. Got PLD (Frizzlefry), WAR (Inchigo), DRG (Kirinkage), RDM (myself). I was able to pick up 2 more people: WHM (Phaet) and RNG (Masta). We debated on where to party for a while. Then we decided to go to Bibiki Bay! Side Note: Phaet was the guy who sent me tell months ago that he liked my blog. The one I was so happy about that I gave him a big shout out in my blog. Let's get back to what I was saying. We get to Bibiki Bay and we take on the Grey looking Akabas, lol. The bird. No issues with birds here, I can enfeeble them. During the party I enfeebled, enhanced,and helped heal. The RNG had to leave, so he left. I replaced him with a THF. We continue. I level to 67. Yay!!! I realize at some point it's late & I have to go. I tried looking for a replacement RDM. None available so I got a BLM/RDM, Vourant, my friend. Frizzle had to go to, but Kirin replaced him as PLD. Kirin replaced himself with a SAM and Inchigo replaced himself with a MNK. I warp home and log. I just have to say, Taru's look so frickin' cute meleeing or dd'ing. Absolutely adorable, I get the fuzzy feeling when I see them. Day 2 (today) I get on because I need to farm. I get on, all farming areas are not owned by San D. So I decided to do FOV in Latheine with SMN. I changed and spoke with Kakida. He was farming. I told him what I was doing so he hooked me up with a party in Latheine, a married couple. They've been playing for 6 weeks. The husband died twice I think. In the fight the last time husband died(Sorry I don't remember name, I think it ends with Leigh and starts with G)the gob killed Carby. I was down to 10 hp I cured myself, brought out Shiva when I only had like 50 mp left. I was back to 10 HP and Shiva saved my life and the wife's life too (I don't remember any part of her name). I did level to 12 with SMN. So that was good too. So I had 30 mins left and we all just used headed home to San D. I decided to clean house and sell stuff. I sell what I could in San D. I then warped to Whitegate to put things on auction there. As I was going between AH and mog house in Whitegate, Inchigo told me that Beseiged was starting. I invited him to my party and then headed to Beseiged. This is where I broke my all time record. My elemental went up. My dark went up. Inchi died like 6 - 7 times. He's kinda too low for Beseiged. He was 60 DRG. Me... I DID NOT die at all. I was hit a lot but never died. And I was in middle of the action too. I wasn't cowering in some small place casting spells. The hydra kept dragging me in and weighing me down. I so happy I got erase. He did it to me like 4 times. Yay!!! No death to me. Now I logged off in whitegate a whole hour later than my estimated 30 mins. I hope my stuff sells on AH.

I See The Light - Thanks Kain!

I go to Zi'Tah to do some easy farming, while I waited for this party I was invited to got started. I didn't get so much. All the Gobbues weren't dropping a thing. So I ended up leaving Zi'Tah to go duo with Kainbelmont. As Kain & I were leaving, the party guy said he was ready, but I chose to skip and just duo with Kain. We went same place we always do, Ayeedwa Cavern (or something like that). We nuke the crap out those rat/dog looking mobs. By end of the night I got my Elemental magic skill increased by 20 levels. Not bad. I also leveled to 65 too. We were getting great exp with skilling up. I got the best of both worlds.

Breaking The Clouds

I get on,but what to do? After much deliberation, I decided to try out SMN with my buddy Shiva. I run off to LaTheine to do FOV. I chose page 1. Hey, now, I'm only 11. That was supposed to be my range & I was by myself. I had to kill 3 Wasps & 3 Saplings. I started with the Wasps. They are harder to do. They don't spawn as fast. I head to the crater where I can find them. I find one. I call out Shiva. Shiva kicked that Wasp's ass so fast I nearly missed the fight. What I did notice, is that Shiva sucks tons of MP. So, I decide to use Carby for the rest of the time. He doesn't suck too much MP. I finished my Wasp requirements and exit the crater for better footing. I find 3 Saplings easily. I whooped their asses. On my way back, I try to avoid Orcs. They check as Tough to Very Tough to me. I went my merry way. Guess what happened? You guessed right an Orc aggro'd me. But not just any Orc. A grappler. Those are tougher than the rest. I tried to call out Shiva. But the Orc seemed to interrupt my casting, or so I thought. I pull out my staff. If I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die fighting. As the grappler hit me again, guess who hit him back? Not I, but Shiva. I didn't think she came out. Shiva saved my ass!!!!!!! By time the fight was done, I had like 15 HP and 15 MP left. That was a close call. I LOVE SHIVA!!!!!! I made it back to FOV book in piece without aggro. I sat & rested there. With all that excitement, I decided to head back home. Once I zone into W Ronf, I decided to bring Carby out to be my bodyguard in case I get aggro'd. He was a great bodyguard too. I aggro'd 2 Goblins. He took out one while I took out the second. I got back to castle and I still had a lot of MP remaining. Carby is MP efficient. I love him too. I changed back to RDM and threw my seek flag. I get a party immediately. We fighting those birds again. I really don't get anything from them. I do level to 64 though. So when I noticed Beseiged going to start I told party I was leaving to do Beseiged. So the party decided to break up. I was going to find them a replacement. But one of the members told me to stay in party because he wants to do Beseiged too. So we both walk back to Al Zhabi from Bhaflutt Thickets. Beseiged is on. I get Frizzlefry and others in my party. I die. I get a lot of skill ups. I love Beseiged. I hate the lag & the deaths. But the good thing, we don't lose exp from Beseiged. I try to level my dark & elemental skills. I'm doing pretty well. Just need to keep on doing Beseiged. Since I turned 64 I decided to just get Limit Break out of the way. It supposedly the easiest one. So I run to Jeuno to speak to the infamous Maat. He tells me I have to give 4 people throughout Vana'diel a Kindred Seal. He will notify them himself of my coming. But does he tell me who the people are? That would be too easy. He gives me 4 hints. Out of the 4 hints, I know of 1 person with 100% accuracy. 2 of the them I have no clue. The last one I believe I know who it is. So I run back to San D "supposedly to get my seals out of storage". Instead, I run to the explorer moogle in North San D and has me teleport me to Mhaura. I believe that the 4th person who I believe it is to be there. But of course I don't remember the name. So I check good old Wiki. I read the who the person is. Of course I was wrong. I just shelled out 300 gil to go to the wrong place. Now I pay another 300 gil to get back, so sad. So I check all the people I need to go to on Wiki. So I decide to do guy in Bastok first. So I go to explorer moogle again pay 300 gil to be teleported to Bastok. I go to Metalworks and find the guy. Can you guess what's wrong with the situation? I forgot my damned seals in storage all the way in f?????g San D. So I warp back to San D get my seals. Instead of going back to Bastok, I decide to go to do Port San D to give guy my seal. Guess what happens again? I forgot those damn seals again. I go into mog house & retrieve 4 and go back to guy in Port San D. 1 out of 4 completed. I go to explorer moogle again to teleport me to Windhurst. I find the guy and him gave him a seal. 2 out of 4 completed. I then go to explorer moogle in Windy to teleport me to Selbina. I find my 100% accurate guy & trade him his seal. 3 out of 4 completed. So now my 2nd to last stop is Bastok, again. I go to explorer moogle in Selbina to teleport me back to Bastok. In Bastok, I go back to the guy in MetalWorks. I trade him the seal. Finally all 4 seals are given out. So I decide which way is the most inexpensive way to get back to Jeuno. This quest has been expensive. I decide to catch the Airship. The airship is there. I pay my gil to the guy. I run down the jet way and the damn Airship took off without me. Gotdamnit!!!! Gotdamnit!! Gotdamnit!!! So I had to sit around for 10 minutes in the very unattractive Bastok port waiting on the next airship to arrive. I finally get to Maat. He congratulates me saying he knew I could do it and I've ascended about the clouds. Yada Yada Yada. I just want to go to bed. It was just an aggravating quest because of my senility and my foolheartiness.

Shiva Beseiged a Mea

As a linkshell, we thought it would be good to have weekly mission/events for our members to accomplish goals. So today was our first try at doing Chains of Promythia (COP) Promyvian- Mea. We ended up going to the broken teleport at the telecrag in Tahrongi. So we head in all 7 of us (Kainbelmont-BLM, Naquel-MNK, Frizzlefry-WAR, Nimotas_THF, Loquat-WHM, Sketch-NIN, and I-RDM). Kain didn't join fight for first fight. He stayed outside to guide us. We wiped the first time. Naquel bounced after the first attempt, so Kain ended up replacing him. We wiped 4 more times. Making us wipe 5 times for the night. We got frustrated so we left and didn't try a 6th time. Since we wiped, I had the urge to kill something. I realized that my fame for San D was 6, so I wanted to try to get Shiva avatar for my SMN. I was able to recruit Thesage-SMN, Frizzle-PLD, Kainbelmont-BLM and Rhelic-WHM. So we head to Fei'Yin to the battle arena. We go in to fight. The fight seemed easy. It went really quick. I casted a lot of Fire II's on her. At end I got the ability to summnon Shiva as well as Rhelic. I think everyone else took the gil. So Kain warped everyone home. I ran to guy to finish quest. I then went to my mog house, changed job to SMN and threw on any gear that I could use for my level. I ran to W Ronf to summon Shiva. I just wanted to see her and test her out. She's able to do Axe Kick and cast Blizzard II. But she takes a lot of MP though. I came back in from W Ronf in time to make it for Beseiged. I changed back to RDM and teleported to Whitegate. I need to level up my Dark magic skills. So I got my dark up maybe 3 levels. Beseiged was short. I only died twice. That's a new record for me. Overall, today was a good day even with the wipe of Promy-Mea.

This is Clan Belmont

Today was photo day for ClanBelmont. While I wait for picture, I skilled up in Cape Terrigan with Inchigo doing FOV. Thesage joined us for a spell. Made over 5k in gil and over 5k in exp. I never realized you got gil doing FOV. I should do it more often. Those of us, Belmonts that is, gathered in Latheine Plateau to take our LS picture. I had to mule my brother for the pic. Banishing the Shadows

Get on like planned to finish Mission 5-2, The Shadow Lord, so I can get Rank 6. With Rank 6, I can participate in dynamis & the ability to do Zilart Missions. So we gather everyone. Who's everyone? Thesage, Mnace, Kakida, Inchigo and myself. Four of us had to the fight. So I get everyone together. We head to Castle Vhazl Keep to take down the Shadow Lord with just the 5 of us. We were, SMN, RDM, 2 WAR, DRG. The fight from my prospective, was pretty easy. I just stayed clear & healed folks. It was ok. It was fun. Afterwards, I was too psyched up to log off. So Kainbelmont asked to duo together. I said yep. So we head Aydeewa Subterrane. We had ourselves our own little manaburn party. It was fun. I got a lot of skill ups and a lot of exp points. Kain is the best!!

Old Bones & Booty

It's time to start doing missions again. I need to get rank 6 so I can do dynamis. Yes I know I'm not level enough, but I've been offer a dynamis linkshell. So, I might as well get the prerequisites out of the way, no? So I get Kerikris, Kirinkage & Inchigo to help. Kirin said we needed a full party, so I had to find 2 more folks. I ended up getting Kakida & Mnace. They both had to do this mission too.

We had to go to Fei'Yin and kill some skeletons. We meet in Beaucidine Glacier. Once we are gathered we head to Fei'Yin. Of course, I got lost. I hate BG. It's always double snow so you can't see shit. Keri had to come find me & escort me, lol.

We get to Fei'Yin, we get where we need to go. The fight was not that bad. Keri & I sat back & cured the guys. I also did a little bit of enfeebling. The fight was over pretty quickly. I got my cutscenes and all. Keri tele-holla'd us except for Mnace. Mnace, Kakida & I went to finish up our mission in our respective home nations.

Kakida noticed his rank bar was full after he completed the mission. So I checked mine. Kakida had to log because his wife had to use his computer. Mnace & I started Mission 5-2 "The Shadow Lord". We say we going to tackle it next week. Yay! So I do all the leg work so next week all I have to do is fight.

So as I was finishing up the run around for 5-2, Cyre from the linkshell said they were heading to RoMaeve to do Field of Valor. I asked if I can join. He said sure. We head there. It was cool. We killed dolls. The place is full of weapons and dolls. So just need a lot of sneak. It was pretty fun. Got skill ups on Dark magic, which is always good. Then we left there to go there to do FOV in Zi'Tah. Since we had to wait one full game day, we decided to farm. We do pretty well. Then we started FOV. But during, Cyre disconnected, & then i had to go. All in all I had a good time.

A Death Wish

So I get on to help my bro, Kirinkage, to level his RDM. So I went as DNC. His RDM is 10 and my DNC is 9. I could've came as SMN, level 8. So as I was changing, Kirin was inviting people from the LS. Kainbelmont said we could start a static but he couldn't make it tonight. So I realized as I was changing that I do not have appropriate gear for support/damage dealer at this level. So I had to wear my level 1 RSE (race specific equipment). Met up with Kirin at exit to W Ronf. We make our way to Latheine. We decided to do FOV so we can get extra experience. We had to kill 3 Saplings & 3 Wasps. We took care of the saplings easily. Now we are in crater looking for wasps. We found one. This wasp is giving us a warm time. But a Gob decides to join in. Needless to say, we both die. We got a raise coming, Aratak from our LS. So Kirin and I are chatting up our ls and thru tells while we wait. Kakida came on. He decided to join us. We were still dead by time he joined us. Aratak finally joined us. He raised us. After our weakened state wore off we got Kakida in party. We went partially around the crater, where Kirin met a 2nd untimely death due to gob. Aratak was still around so he raised Kirin. Then we make it further along the crater then Kakida aggro'd a gob. Of course, all 3 of us died. That's death #3 for Kirin, #2 for me and #1 for Kakida. Aratak came like an angel of mercy and raised all 3 of us. We decide to all it a day from leveling and decided to skill up in Ranspierre's tomb. So we head home to San D. I get aggro from gob. We all died again. I think there was a conspiracy set up to kill us. I should've came as SMN. Carby can hit harder than all 3 of us. So Kirin leveled down at this death. So we just hp'd and headed to Ranspierre's Tomb. We get there to skill up. I am getting elemental and dark skill ups and some sword skills. The sword skill ups are few but sizable. Each time I get a skill it was for .4 skill so that adds up to 1.0 really quickly. So in end I got 20 full skill ups on sword, and elemental & 1 on dark.

Frozen Hell to Arabian Knights

Got on like I promised Titen. I started talking to folks on my linkshell, Clan Belmont. Someone asked me what I was going to do. I said I wanted to finish my AF3. Demicus volunteered to help me. So I meet him in N San D by teleport guy. We teleported to Xarcabard (Vhazl) and high tailed it to Vhazl Baileys to fight Dark Spark NM. We did it pretty smoothly and fast. After fight, I get my item and we both warped out. I had set my homepoint to Jeuno just for this reason. I ran to Port Jeuno and got my gloves!!!! Yay!! It all took 20 mins. That's the fastest I've ever accomplished something. So now I check my friends list to see if Titen is on. He is. I contact him. And of course, we get into an argument. He called me a liar because "supposedly I said I was going to do something & I didn't" I promised to party with him today. That's why I contacted him. Then he goes how he saw me get my AF3. I said yeah. It only took me 20 mins. Then he complained that how come he can't party with my friends. I said there's isn't any reason he can't unless I'm with Ghostdawg. He asked me why and I told him that he has him blacklisted. Then he retorts that he can't please everyone. I don't need him to please anyone. So I asked do you still want to party, he said no he's busy. So I left him alone. So I just contacted Inchigo, who was on by the way. We decided to duo together in Kuftal Tunnel. We did really well until Inchi got disconnected which left me to die. I can't even scratch those crabs. During the time I tried out composure, my new job ability thanks to the April update. I hp'd once I died. I had set my hp back to San D. Good thing. Once back in San D, I throw my seek party flag up. It's time to get some experience going. So while I wait, I decided to parrticipate in the eggstravaganza event. There was a mass of people around the event moogle. It was crazy. The lag was ridiculous. People was just appearing spontaneously. I didn't get anything but an "I" egg. There were egg sellers too. People just capitalizing on the event, lol. After a while, I got a party invite for Wajoom Woodlands. It was a pretty cool party. I was able to level to 55 in this party. Ghostdawg joined my party for a while. I somehow became lead again. After a while I got sleepy. I told everyone I had to go because at that point I could barely keep my eyes open. The party disbanded. I warped out of Wajoom and logged for the night. Today was a very productive day. I got my AF3 and I leveled. Not bad.

In The Company Of Ghost

So since I retired WHM, I am gong ho about leveling RDM. However, I don't get any invites. But I still need to skill up despaerately. My elemental is low and my dark is ridiculously low. I think it's like 30 now. When I started to skill up couple of week it was 9. So I decide to skill up. My road dog. My buddy. My Ghostdawg decides he's going to help me skill up. So we meet in E Altepa by OP. However as I get there, my signet wore off. So I ended up heading back to San D to get signet. I op back. We ran off to Quicksand caves. I don't remember if it was the E Altepa or W Altepa side. Anyway, we started killing beetles. Unfortunately, he aggro'd an antican. Eventually we both died. We hp'd. But I didn't want to go back. We ended up duo with lowlevel jobs. Ghost, DNC and me, DRG. I meet up with him in Bastok. We run around Gustaberg and Konschtat killing. I took on a tough who I thought was an even-match. He'll I like having Ember around. She kicks ass. Ghost died because he got a link. His friend, from the other night, came and raised him. We played for a little while longer before I logged out. By end the night I leveled from 9 to 11. And I put my harpoon on auction cause I outgrew it. The next time I go on. Ghost said come duoing with me again with your DRG. I said sure. I changed into DRG and got my signet. Then I remembered I didn't have a spear to use. He said he'll get me one. I said okay and I'll meet him in La#heine. So I call out Ember and kicked ass all the way to LaTheine. I just used my fist. I look so cute punching a gob in the face. I get to LaTheine and meet Ghost. He trades me a spear. Then he sits down and crafts. He made me another spear for a higher level. He's so good to me. We fight around LaTheine for rest of the evening. By end of evening I leveled to 13. Ghost did not die. It was a great time. But then again, I always have a great time. Now I am putting Ember back into hibernation for a while. I want to get my RDM moving.
