What a Memorial Weekend!!!

This weekend was a great weekend of accomplishment. However, I didn't get all what I wanted to accomplish done but what a hell of a weekend!!!!

Saturday was the day of missions. I started off solo. I went to Castle Oztroja for another piece of magicite for Windy mission 4-1. I got so lost in therre that my bro Kirinkage had to come direct me and I have a map! So I made him escort me to my last leg of this mission in Beadeaux. By then we had Kakida and Naquel coming. Naq needed mission 5-1 also so we decided just to go ahead and take care of that mission. So I went to Jeuno to finish off 4-1, got my 20k in gil and went to Windy to start mission 5-1.

We all meet in Fei'Yin. However, we needed another healer and damage dealer for the mission. I got Ashpool and Kirin got a taru named Neoscrilla. This is the mission we have to take on skeletons. We did this mission so easy since we had some badasses in my party. Since we had everyone, we decided to just get the Shadow Lord fight down. So I had to run back to Windy to finish off mission 5-1 and start 5-2.

We all met back to Castle Zhavl Baileys in Xarcabard. We follow Neo thru the crazy place and make it to the throne room for the fight.

We were getting ready to enter when Naq went gung ho. He entered and attacked the Shadow Lord  before the rest of us could enter. So we had to wait for him to come out dead. So we entered the fight again, all of us this time. So while I was in my cut scene they started the fight. I find out that all my buffs were gone, so I only put on reraise. By time I finished casting, we were on the second phase. Ashpool, the badass that he is, had to be cured primarily. So the fight went by so fast that I couldn't take any screenshots. This by far was the fastest SL fight I've ever been in. I thanked everyone for their help. So I went from Rank 4 to 6. Not a whole lot of movement in the ranks, but I still feel accomplished.

On Sunday, Windy had finally captured the Dunes! I had to run and catch the op there. Once I captured the op, I decided to solo on my NIN. I did a page of FOV. I was doing well until I got a link and died. Lucky I had reraise up. I didn't level tho. I just finished the page because I beckoned to do something else. I had to miss dyna Xarcabard because I had party plans Sun night and had to go shopping.

Monday night after the 2 BBQs that I went to, I got on game to concentrate on Windy fame. My bro was concentrating on getting me a joytoy (Joyeuse). I went to Giddeus killing bees for beehive chips. I was on a roll deep in Giddeus when my bro told me to run to Sea Serpent Grotto to help camp and get some skill ups on placeholders. So I get there, with guidance of my bro, and we took on 2 mantas when Rethem came to join us. He wanted to take down some NM, so this guy Rum came along. Then they both came in. Rethem was telling my bro about which manta was a placeholder for Charbydis. He said we should kill stuff outside the door while we wait between pops.

So we leave and then he said we should go back in and wait so he can show us which pop is a placeholder. Within 5 minutes of waiting for the placeholder pop, Charby popped instead. OH SHIT!!!!! So we try to take it as dd that Reth was, NIN/DNC that RUM was and me & Kirin (PLD) cured. We wiped, but the great thing was that no one was there to grab claim!!!!! So we healed, Kirin hp'd and Nimotas was on his way as DNC/NIN. But Nim told us that people went thru gold door with him.

Shit!!!! So Rum took claim before the other guys came. So Rum, Rethem began to fight and Nim walked right in fighting. I was the best God-damn RDM on this fight. Charby couldn't keep any boosts going because he was dispelled often. He was slowed, paralyzed and gravitied. It was
great to have all the DNC and /DNC with curing waltz and healing waltz. It helped out a great deal. Kirin made it back and helped heal. I had to convert at one point. I didn't totally heal myself because I needed the MP. So when he got to 10% HP, he killed Nim and Reth leaving only Rum. I was screaming for Kirin to go attack, not that he could hear me, because the other people was dying to get such a great gift of a very weakened Charby. So Kirin buffed up and went to fight! He and Rum were doing great and I stopped enfeebling and concentrated
on curing. But guess what happened!!!! My timer on my TV turned my TV off. By time I got it back on, Charby was dead!!! I GOT MY JOYEUSE!!!!!! Hell yeah!!! No pics though, thanks to my timer.

So since I was on a winning high, I decided to tackle Maat. This time I let my bro who was sittin next to me, assist me in my fight. He could take the edge off and help me remember doing somethings when my nerves get the best of me. So he helped me define a new strategy, but
it's a slower strategy. It was working grandly, but Darksday ended and firesday began. How did we know? My sleeps were resisted!!!! So I ended up getting a face full of Asurian Fist. Oh well but I got a new strategy that works.

I went to chat with Romidiant at the rendevouz point in Windy Waters when I got back. In speaking to him, he gave me my very first tactics pearl quest. I'm shocked. So once again, I had my bro guide me where I needed to go. I had to head into Promyvian - Mea and search for
the ???. Did I mention, that when you enter the promy you are restricted to level 30? That sucks. But apparently your NPC is supposedly stronger than you. I didn't get to test this theory. I didn't get aggro. I got my ???, was warped out of there. I went back to Waters  and summoned Romi and got my tactics.

Tuesday, because I had the day off, I got on game to do more quests for Windy Fame. However, that didn't happen. First thing that happened was Lordgrim sought my help to fight an NM in Vunkel (S) - however you spell it. So I use my last charge on my Kingdom stable collar to get to San d'Oria quickly so I can enter the Maw there. So I met him in San d'Oria (S) and we tele'd to Vunkel. We were waiting for Celias and her funky internet connection. But after a while I just told LG to call me back when he's ready to roll.

I then ended up duoing with Ryuhlu, him on BLU. I level synced my RDM to 50 to duo in East Altepa. We took on 2 FOV pages before I had to leave. I did die once. I was hoping to gain experience, no to lose any. Ryu died twice.

Didn't get too many goodies though. I left Ryu and parked my char at Delkfutt Tower in Qufim. Zannon offered to help me get a new testimony. I went to eat dinner.

Upon coming back I proceed to head to the floor with the Magic Pots. I bump into Zannon farming gil waiting for me. Kirin happened to join us too. So we take out pots and the entire floor. I had brought out Romidiant. He also leveled to 37 after I got my testimony. So our bond
is getting stronger. I logged from gamr after Romi left. I had to get ready for work.

Imps To The Rescue

Yes I know imps are the worst enemy to deal with but let me tell you how they came to my rescue before you think I'm nuts.

See, my experience points had went to shit after my attempts at getting a Joyeus sword and doing dynamis. I went from 23k to 9k. I refuse to leveldown to 69. I absolutely refuse!!!!!  I asked my linkshell if anyone wanted a party. I didn't get a response, so I put my flag up. Yes I put it up. I haven't partied in ages.  Let's see if I remember how to.  

So I get 2 invites; a level 70 and a level 55.  So I chose the level 70 party because I knew the level 55 one would be fighting those God awful Colibris. The level 70 party was in Caedvra Mire. As usual, trying to head to camp I aggro an imp and had to zone.  Finally made it to camp to find out the party make up as follows: SCH, NIN, SAM, THF and BLU. 

This party was great. In 2 hours I got my exp back to 28k. That's more than I had when I originally leveled. That was hot!!! People had to leave so the party broke up. It was great!!! I had a good time. I was a bit rusty at first but I warmed up quickly.

Now to concentrate on Maat if I can.

So I wasn't too sure what I was going to do today. I had a fresh testimony in hand. Maybe I'll get my fight on. My brother said he wantd to try my Maat fight. I said sure. It couldn't hurt me. He sat at my laptop watching and reading strategies as I was getting myself geared and prepared. I head to Jeuno to allow that old man to teleport me to burning circle. Once I get there, I show my bro my macros. He goes in for the fight. The following was his commentary.

Bro: What the hell?!?
Bro: He just moved! I bound him.
Bro: What the.... Why isn't he sleeping?
Bro: WTF! Why isn't the spells sticking?

**** Tigerkirara was defeated by Maat! ***

Bro: That is some bullshit!!!!
Bro: He slept in all the videos!
Bro: That was some bullshit!!

For the rest of the night, he's walking around muttering "That was some bullshit!!" LOL. So that makes me 0/5 tries on Maat. Not happy.

So what to do now that Maat is out of the way? I really need exp back. In the past 2 months that I have not been partying I went from 34k exp (capped) to 16k. So I decided to throw my party flag up to see who's going to bite. I ended up going to a party with Demicus. He was leveling up his NIN. The party was synced to 43. As long as I have refresh, I'm good.

The party was in Quicksand Caves. I died once when the WHM got aggro'd by a spider and I healed him. All in all, within 1.5hrs in the party, I got my exp up to at least 23k or so. Before I quit for the night, I got Gihl to replace me. He was looking and he was in the right level range. I bid everyone bye and warped.

My Slight Involvement in The Great

Monday:
I get on without any plans. I didn't want to party. I thought about
doing my Maat fight. I changed my mind because I didn't want to
concentrate so hard. I also was trying to make a static party for
Chains of Promethia (COP) missions. So I made a LS message in
ClanBelmont. I also announced it ValorKingdom and StormysKnights. I
already have 3 and that includes me. I have a tank and 1 damage
dealer. I need 2 more dds and 1 healer (someone who can assist in
healing).

So I made up my mind and decided if Frizzlefry was free to do Wings
missions. He was game. We met in South San D. He asked if Kirinkage
was coming since we all were doing it together. I feel a bit bad
because Phaet was also working with us on them. Unfortunately his time
is taken up by his LS RocDynasty.

Kirinkage was heping our friend Kakida get a nation in the past.
Frizzy ended up going to help them get to San D from Vunkle something.
So I was left by myself. So I decided to do a campaign op in E
Ronfaure S. I get to area for battle. I buff up and put reraise on.
The campaign music starts but there aren't any Orcs coming. At least I
thought. Then out of nowhere an Orc was in front of me. I was down in
3 hits. I didn't even see Orc coming. I'm glad I had reraise on. I
looked around my dead body to see if I can raise. The coast looked
clear. Just as I hit yes, an Orc walked right over me as I rose turned
and cold clocked me. I was dead again. Luckily my bro was near and
came to raise me. Kakida got to see a campaign battle for a minute
before he and Kirin ran off to San D to get him allegiance. I
continued to heal and join Frizzy who participated in the battle. I
teleported back to San D. We showed Kakida how to get missions and
such. Kirin and Frizzy went to do some mission in Battalia Downs and I
stayed with Kakida. I was going to get him to do a Campain Op so he
get some Allied Notes.

So I walked Kakida to the tower for battle. One wasn't starting. So I
decided to go kill Orcs while we wait. So we head south on the map to
find some Orcs.We definitely found them. Unfortunately they were
lumped together. So as I was trying to magic pull ons, a campaign
battle started. So we ditched he plan and ran back to tower. We got
Kakida his allied tags and we waited for Orcs to come to us. This
time I was prepared. My buffs were up and waiting. The Orcs arrived
and we did damage. At some point Frizzy and Kirin joined us again.
After battle Frizzy had to go pal around with his friend. We took
Kakida back to get the rest of his allied notes. After that we got him
to umlock maw in E Ronf. I went back to Mog house to log off.

Tuesday:
I got on to do more seeking for COP static members. I couldn't find
any so I really was bored. I didn't want to Maat fight because my
brother was in the mood to harrass me. You know, what little bros do
time to time. So I decided to try out BLM. I changed into level 1 gear
and I got a staff from Ciddester/Panzer. He said I could keep staff.
So I ran to E Ronf to level. I got to level 4 before I called it a
night. I even did a FOV. I had to get me some tabs. I love to use
Repatriation. I'm lazy in transportation. BLM is cool but it's almost
like my RDM though well at this level. Oh well. Another night.

Escapades

I get on wanting to skill up my magic. But since I got the nice 100k from Rank 10 I decided to get gear. So I head to the AH in Whitegate. So I'm camped out at AH searching for gear and talking on LS. I was able to buy a back piece & my ammo piece.

I asked anyone if they were interested in skilling up with me. Crim (DRK) & Kerikris (WHM) decided to come with me. We meet up in Zi'Tah and head to the tree. When we get there, the NM Aquarius was there. Crim decided we should try it. Well, that didn't turn out too well. We all died. Good thing I put on Reraise during fight. After we rose we made our way to the area with the Steelshell crabs. There were a lot of parties there. We ended up forming an alliance with one party.


I still wasn't getting any skill ups and neither was Crim. So when someone in LS said Besieged was at level 8 advancing, we both left to go. I got couple of levels there.

After Besieged, I was able to get party. I figure I can get some experience points in. I didn't get as much of a buff as I wanted to because party had to disband. That made me a bit moody, so I needed to be alone for a minute but I still wanted to play game. What to do?

The solution - Campaign. So I did 3 campaign battles in E Ronfaure [S]. I managed to avoid everyone for the first 2 battles. Last battle, Charion & Minibasta were there. Oh well, so much for being alone. So after the battle I decided to do another cutscene for the Wings of the Goddess missions. The little brats disbanded their organizations. They are cute tho.

Heir To The Throne

Fri
I get on to complete Mission 9-2 with Frizzlefry, Kirinkage, Inchigo, and Kainbelmont. We run off to Fei'Yin for the fight. We have to fight 12 Orcs then we must fight along with Prince Trion. We have to keep Trion alive while we fight. I was trying to concentrate on keeping Trion alive. But then I got hit really bad, so I had to cure myself & get back to Trion. In middle of casting cure on Trion he died, so we lost the fight. Kain had to leave, so we are stuck in Qu'Bai Arena. We were searching for a replacement who can sleep mobs. Minibasta agreed to help. He had asked me to help sleep Orcs in the 1st fight. I did my best. We made it thru to 2nd fight with Trion. This fight I made sure Trion stay alive. During healing I was killed & I raised and continued to cure Trion. Then I died again. Then everyone else did too. Trion was the last person alive, lol. We needed more fighters, so we got Demicus to join us. This time, we finished the mission. I got my cutscene. Prince Trion survived. Mini needed some help with some stuff in Fei'Yin so we all (except for Kirinkage) went around and helped Mini. Then I warped back to San D to finish all my additional cut scenes for the mission. At the end I became RANK 10 in San D and I got my flag.

I don't think I will be moving to any of the other 2 nations yet. I really don't like Bastok. That's where Frizzle & Kainy moved to after Frizzle got his Rank 10. Eh, I really don't know yet. Plus I don't want to lose all my OPs that I worked so hard to get., lol.

Sat
So with my new status of Royal Heir, I decided to join Inchigo in skilling up in Kuftal Tunnel. We decided to skill up & fish for the NM in pond in the bottom. We ended up fishing more than skilling. However, it was an awful time because my mom called me every 5 minutes. I left Inchi alone to fight NM at one point. There wasn't a drop tho. My mom was really set on getting & keeping my attention. After a while, my mom decided to go to bed. So Inchi & I continued until we got bored. So we decided to party.


I started a party for Mt Zhayloam for Inchi (WAR) and me (RDM). So I was able to get another WAR, a WHM named Stanislaus, a MNK named Auddie and a THF. After a while we moved camp t o Caedvra Maere. By end of the party, I leveled to 70. I can barely believe it. Me a level 70 player. It's surreal.


To be honest, I don't remember if we partied first or fished for NM first. I just know I hung with Inchi the whole time. I haven't hung with him in a long time. The missions do not count.

Sun
I get on to do something. I don't even know what. I just wanted to be in game. So I saw everyone was leveling a low level job on LS. So I decided to level my SMN. I meet up Solesiren with her SMN in Latheine. The differences between us is that she has Garuda & I have Shiva. It was fun. Then a random guy asked to join our party. We said sure. I think he was either a WAR or THF. We did 2 FOVs in Latheine. The guy was enamored of our avatars. He left after the 1st FOV. We decided we may want to try Dunes on Bunnies. Well we carefully make our way to the Dunes. We both went 2 separate paths. I did not encounter any Battering Rams. Frizzlefry was in Dunes so we asked if he wanted to join us. By time we reached Dunes, he DC'd so we decided to try a Buuny on our own. That was a very bad idea. I died then Sole died. Sole was able to get us a raise. Then Frizzle logged back in. So he joined our party as SAM. The guy who came to raise us also powerleveled us. Then Syco joined us with her SMN too. Then Nimotas joined us as SCH and then we acquired a BLM. So we did FOV's in Dunes too & killed stuff. By end of the night I had attained Level 15 for my SMN.

I'm Not Ready For All That Yet

I've been super busy at work, so here's my list of accomplishments and endeavors. Some fun, some not so fun. Here we go.

Tues 7/14:
I met up with Kakida so we can finish our BLU quest. As I read up on where we had to go, I realized it was the same place me and Kain go to Manaburn. So as I wait for Kakida I check for the sunsand that I thought was in my inventory, to find out I must've either sold or dropped. So I had to go buy another. We finally meet up and I lead the way via chocobo to Aydeewa Subterraine. I tell him he's going to have to use invisible to get by spiders and rats. We get to the area needed. I stepped in and got my cutscene, but Kakida forgot his. I told him I'll trade him mine but not to leave the area. Cutscene teleports you back into Whitegate. I go back to meet him & trade him the sand, then warped out.

Thurs 7/16:
I leveled DNC to 11 with Inchi's RDM. We did FOV in both W Ronf and Latheine. We almost died once together. I had died when I got jumped by a Orc Grappler when I was fighting a Sheep while waiting for Inchi.But I know I leveled to 10. I do not know when I leveled to 11. I got 2 levels in 1.5 hours. Not bad when I didn't use any rings.


Sat 7/18:
I get to do missions, but no one was ready yet. So I looked for a party. I found one in Ceadvra Mire. The party was pretty cool. It was a static party. I was just a fill in for someone who wasn't one. I tried to make it to party. I had to zone back into staging point to survive. I come back out to find a party member fighting an imp. I cured him as much as I can. When he died, I tried to zone again back into the staging point, but I died. I had reraise on, so it was all good. I raised and then raised party member. We then made dash to camp. Party was ok. I've been in better. We had a THF, SAM, PLD, SMN and DRK. They pulled slow and killed slow. Then they had to leave, I didn't get much experience. Oh well, at least it was some.

I head back to San D for what I thought was rank missions for San D, but since Inchigo was not available, we (Frizzle and Kirin) ended up doing Wings of The Goddess missions. A lot of the missions for WOTG are cut scenes. When we started we had to save, as my brother said, some Elvaan chick. Frizzle let me borrow his Scorpion Harness. So I went back to wearing short shorts, lol.

We had to go to Jugner_S to find her and fight NM. However, we died miserably. We needed another dd. We got Phaet to come as DRK. We were able to tackle the fights. We got NM too. We had to go back to San D_S for further cut scenes. We had another NM fight to do in La Vaule (Davoi in present time) but we had to go. Phaet had a HNM and the rest of us were falling out. We were sleepy. So we are on mission called "Purple, The New Black". Sounds like we gonna get our butts kicked.

Sunday 7/19:
I get on to do San D rank mission 8-1: Coming of Age with Inchigo, Kirinkage, Frizzlefry and Kainbelmont. We were supposed to do it on Saturday, but we were waiting for Kain. It was a fight somewhere in Quicksand Caves in Altepa. We have to fight a Sea Horror looking NM. It went pretty quick. Kain had to go help someone else.

After I a while my friend Envoy asked me if he can help me with Skilling up. I said sure. I did warn him that I am not really ready for it, but it would be cool to duo with him since I have never partied or duo'd with him before. He takes me to some strange place in Mount Zhylaom. So I was trying to buff up and he started barking to gravity & bind some mob he already started to attack. I didn't even get to put reraise on nor was I able to refresh both of us. Then he started fussing at me. I told him I was not ready. I don't have a skill up macro made yet. I am totally not prepared to skill up. Spells he wants me to use I don't use, so I have to scroll thru all my tons of spells to find. We died once. Then he barked at me about not having reraise up. I was so frazzled and frustrated. I don't ever want to do that again. If I wanted to be barked at, I would join the military. I just told him that I had to go. I wasn't prepared at all. I did try to create new macros on the fly. They sucked though. I am not saying Envoy was giving me bad advice. It was solid. It's just that he was barking like a drill sergeant. My priorities are a bit different than his. I'm trying to farm for gil, then get 70 with exp maxed, then skill up & then practice fights for maat.

I run off to dynamis in my frazzled state. We were doing Beaucedine today. My first time here. I was put in the BLM party for the first time. At the beginning, my RDM relic body dropped. I made a bid. Kneeru told both me & Aseta to lot. Aseta won the lot. Damn it. He didn't even come as RDM. I died 4 times during this whole experience. I moved to the late comer party because they needed a healer. We were lacking people. Not a lot of people have access to the Outland areas. We did win this dyna. So now I am able to get to Xarcabard now. I will not be able to move past there tho. I need to finish COP 3-5. That's going to be a hard to do.

Tues 7/11:

We met up in Bastok to level low jobs because Gustaberg was open for grabs. So I used SMN. Starfirex joined us. I level to 12. We almost died fighting a goblin in Dangruf Wadi. What do you know, I got a Dangruff Key. Another key for me to add to my collection, lol. We stopped within 30-45 mins. I hate Gustaberg area. It's ugly and confusing. I don't think we helped win Gustaberg, but I got my level.

I have some dedicated fans. To all who read, thank you.

An uneventful Evening

Tonight I get on to farm. I promised Inchigo that I would farm with him. I change my job to /NIN and headed to Zi'Tah. I started without him. I do pretty well without him.

I met up with him eventually. A lot sooner than I thought. We started killing what we can but we had huge competition. So I told Inchi to take me to his Gobbue haven. A place off the map that supposedly has tons of gobbue. We go there. Not one gobbue in sight. Competition is sky rocketing tonight.

However, I found a cement tomb for Zilart Art Mission 5. So I tell Inchi to wait. I wanted to get item for mission. What I didn't realize is that a NM would spawn. Well the mob hit me twice and I was down to 300 HP from 1035 HP. Inchi took his attention for s second and then he died. So in theory I was going to die next. Mob was level 70. Even though Inchi was 75 he couldn't take mob by himself nor with my level 69 job. So we are both dead. I was able to get Solesiren to come raise us.

Competition after death was still high so we stopped farming. I decided I needed exp to make up for dynamis and this just recent death. So I formed a party to fight imp land, Caedvra Mire. I was able to get Loquat as WHM, Inchi as WAR, me RDM, a SAM, a THF and a MNK. There weren't any real tanks available. Sole stole Puniwai before I could get him and Frizzlefry was busy. We did ok. I went from 2k exp to 13k. I need 32k to level to 70.

I can't believe that I am almost to maat fight. Once I level to 70 I will concentrate on skilling up and farming my testimony. Oh boy, I'm already nervous.

It's Been Awhile... I'm Sorry

I'm sorry I haven't been posting my adventures lately. I usually blog my adventures during lunch time at work, but work has been ridiculously busy. With all the stuff going at work,I have accomplished a lot in game. I will try to remember everything I've accomplished. My time was fulfilling and exciting. My linkshell is getting ever popular. I've met a lot of people. Apparently a lot of people have found me. I am getting a lot of tells in games saying they like my blog.

Okay, let's get onto the game stuff. It's been a great few weeks.

We did Dynamis Jeuno on the June 27th. This is like my 3rd Dynamis run. We've been really successful on my runs. I haven't gotten any gear yet. I've don't have enough points yet. However, we won this run. As we congregated to enter, Titen sent me a tell. He had me buy some expensive shit on the AH. He gave me the gil for it. But now people gonna think I have gil, which I don't. So we head in. My console didn't freeze. We make our way to the boss. We get to AH in the zone and we killed the boss. Yay us BLMs & RDMs. I survived the win. However, we still have time, so we decided to farm. Well we got slaughtered. They pull way too many mobs that we can't handle. When both alliances are annihilated you know it's bad. This happened twice before we called it a day.

Kainbelmont wanted me, Kirinkage & Frizzlefry to do Sand'Oria rank missions. So we got together and conquered missions 6-1 and 6-2 that gave us Rank 7 and some really good gil. We fight some sort of fish I think in middle of a pond in West Altepa and running around. Now we need to get our rank points filled to start 7-1 & 7-2.

Sat June 27th we attempted to do COP Promyvian-DEM. We got Loquat, Charion, Sketch, myself, Kakida and someone else that I can't remember. We get thru all the floors with 2 deaths, me & Loquat, but when we finally got to the spire, Kakida fell asleep. So we had to call it a night. We couldn't do the boss fight without a damage dealer. So we left. We made the second attempt July 5th. We had me, Loquat, Charion, Phaet, Frizzlefry and Kakida again. We made it up to spire with 3 deaths, me, Kakida and Loquat. Thank goodness we don't lose experience. We go in the first time, we all died. We made a second attempt. I pretty much kited the add-ons for the mobs. And then we won while I was kiting the add-ons. Yay!!!! Loquat & I got transported to Lufaise Meadows. Our first time there. Yay!! Frizzy met us there and walked us to Tavanzian Stronghold.

Once in Tav, we did quest to get map for the area. It was pretty easy with Frizz leading the way. Had to find a hairpin on one of the top floors. So now, whenever I go there, I will know where I'm going. Yay!! Can't wait to do the supply run there when San D owns it again. I don't even know how to get there, much less what I should do in that area.

Theid wanted to get his AF head for his DRG, so he had to go to Temple of Uppleiah or as I call it Ugglapugala. He was asking for help so Kain decided to have Frizz, me, Loquat, Sketch & Kirin start Zilart Mission 4. So we go into the temple, kill stuff for AF and to get lantern for ZM4. Then on July 2nd, we went back to light the lantern & kill NM for mission. In the end I get back my lantern.

Did some partying to level RDM as much as possible. I was able to get level 69 with at least a 2 death buffer. Meaning I only had 6k into the level. I need 32k to get to 70. Can you believe it? I'm almost 70. Everyone complained that the 60s were a bitch to go thru. It wasn't so much of a bitch to me if you exclude the amount of exp you need to get to each level. I got a lot of parties throughout the 60s.

I also started ZM5 with Frizzle & Kain. They've done most of it the day we finished ZM4. So I got my cement tomb item in Behemoth Cavern. I have never been there before. I didn't know the entrance was in Qufim. I am learning things everytime I play.

I also did skilling ups in Beseiged. My favorite place. My dark is now 104. Pretty good. Just gotta raise it another 100 levels. That's the hard thing to do in such a short amount of time.

We did Dynamis-Windurst July 5th. We died massively. We didn't even beat the boss. My 6k buffer went to 2k by the end. Thanks to keeping up Reraise. It was horrible. It also broke our winning streak. So far, I have gotten San D, Bastok & Jeuno. Needed Windy to be able to get to other dynamis zones. Hopefully we get to go again this Sunday. My sense of not being defeated is pounding in my head.

I Beat My All Time Record!!!

Day 1 (Monday) Got on to party. Needed exp from the multiple deaths in San D dynamus. I get a party of 4 easily. Got PLD (Frizzlefry), WAR (Inchigo), DRG (Kirinkage), RDM (myself). I was able to pick up 2 more people: WHM (Phaet) and RNG (Masta). We debated on where to party for a while. Then we decided to go to Bibiki Bay! Side Note: Phaet was the guy who sent me tell months ago that he liked my blog. The one I was so happy about that I gave him a big shout out in my blog. Let's get back to what I was saying. We get to Bibiki Bay and we take on the Grey looking Akabas, lol. The bird. No issues with birds here, I can enfeeble them. During the party I enfeebled, enhanced,and helped heal. The RNG had to leave, so he left. I replaced him with a THF. We continue. I level to 67. Yay!!! I realize at some point it's late & I have to go. I tried looking for a replacement RDM. None available so I got a BLM/RDM, Vourant, my friend. Frizzle had to go to, but Kirin replaced him as PLD. Kirin replaced himself with a SAM and Inchigo replaced himself with a MNK. I warp home and log. I just have to say, Taru's look so frickin' cute meleeing or dd'ing. Absolutely adorable, I get the fuzzy feeling when I see them. Day 2 (today) I get on because I need to farm. I get on, all farming areas are not owned by San D. So I decided to do FOV in Latheine with SMN. I changed and spoke with Kakida. He was farming. I told him what I was doing so he hooked me up with a party in Latheine, a married couple. They've been playing for 6 weeks. The husband died twice I think. In the fight the last time husband died(Sorry I don't remember name, I think it ends with Leigh and starts with G)the gob killed Carby. I was down to 10 hp I cured myself, brought out Shiva when I only had like 50 mp left. I was back to 10 HP and Shiva saved my life and the wife's life too (I don't remember any part of her name). I did level to 12 with SMN. So that was good too. So I had 30 mins left and we all just used headed home to San D. I decided to clean house and sell stuff. I sell what I could in San D. I then warped to Whitegate to put things on auction there. As I was going between AH and mog house in Whitegate, Inchigo told me that Beseiged was starting. I invited him to my party and then headed to Beseiged. This is where I broke my all time record. My elemental went up. My dark went up. Inchi died like 6 - 7 times. He's kinda too low for Beseiged. He was 60 DRG. Me... I DID NOT die at all. I was hit a lot but never died. And I was in middle of the action too. I wasn't cowering in some small place casting spells. The hydra kept dragging me in and weighing me down. I so happy I got erase. He did it to me like 4 times. Yay!!! No death to me. Now I logged off in whitegate a whole hour later than my estimated 30 mins. I hope my stuff sells on AH.

Inside The Volcano

I get on determined to party. I don't let myself get veered off my path. No amount of gil and no coercion to do missions were going to sway me. I did do one thing, though. I went to see if I won anything in the Mog Bonanza. I had bought 2 marbles. So I checked and found I didn't win anything. Oh well there's always next year, if I'm still playing.

Kirinkage was on game too. I convince to party with me as PLD. He told me that Solesiren was trying to start a party too. I convinced her to join mine. With Sole comes Naquel. They are pretty much attached to the hip. So that makes 4 so far: RDM, PLD, WHM, DNC. I just need 2 hard hitting DD's. I see that Titen was looking for party. I get him as DRG. So I need 1 more DD. I was debating between a SAM and DRK. So I sent tells to 3 people. The DRK responded first. This was my first high level party I put together with ease. I chose to go to Mount Zhaylom. I have never partied there.

So we set out there. We started to kick ass. But I was a bit nervous that Titen and Naquel would bump heads. They are both ornery and know-it-alls. For a while it looked like it was brewing, but it suddenly died down. I was happy that everyone got along. Kirin died twice. I used my 2 rings. My enfeebling rose from 200 to 210 without gear. My elemental rose 1 level and my enhancing & healing rose couple levels too. It was a great party. I didn't level though. I hate the 60s.

On The Road to becoming a High Level Player!

Day 1 I get on and get an offer to powerlevel a party when I threw my seek flag up for a party. Cool. I meet up the party at lizard camp in Dunes, then we went to the cliff, then we went to the oasis. I kind of got bored after a while. Kirinkage came to help me for a split second. By time he came, he got a party and left. I think I was powerleveling for 2 hours. Starfirex from my CB came to check me out. He/She (I really don't know) told me that he/she always thought I was a Mithra because of my name. Lol, that would be too cliche. Thesage was doing nothing and I convinced him to come to the Dunes to give me what he told me he had for me. Of course he didn't remember what it was so I had to give him hints. He did come though. I wanted him to rescue me from powerleveling. I was getting distractedly bored. I was slipping on the healing. I got 40k in gil from the guy who contacted. I got Rhelic from CB to replace me as powerleveler. I know he is looking to earn so gil too. When Thesage came, we walked to Selbina. He traded me a pearl to his linkshell. We pal around Selbina for a minute. He warped me home, but we still kept party to chat in. I also got a tell from Envoy. He want to show me his completed Relic weapon, along with the exclusive weapon skill. So when he arrived in San D, I invited him to party. Then we, Envoy & I went into E Ronf to show me the weapon skill against a poor defenseless rabbit. Day 2 Today was all about getting skill ups & running errands or so I thought. I get on to find out Beseiged is going to start. Yay!!!! So I hightailed it to Whitegate to find a party for Beseiged. I get a party with Mnace, his sister Devilishangel, Kneeru and some other CB members. However, it was a good 20 mins before Beseiged started. During this time, there was this huge argument via shouts in Al Zahbi. It was hilarious. This little Taru named Sippykupp was complaining about Beseiged taking too long, then someone had to make a remark that set Sippy off. That was a 20 min argument, lol. It was the best. Had all of us cracking up. Sippy ended up in an alliance with my party. I had a good beseiged, I only died 3 times. At the end I got 1558 experience. Beseiged ends. What to do? Envoy sent me a tell asking me if I was busy. I said I just finished Beseiged. He said he was free for a short while and if I needed anything done. I said sure. I need the staging point for Mount Zhalyom. If I'm going to try to party there, I need to get the staging point. So he invited me into his party. We take chocobo to Bhaflau Thickets. Go thru a tunnel. He casts escape, then he tells me to sneak & invis. Couple of seconds later we are at the staging point. That was mad fast. After a few mins he had to go. I threw up my seek sign hoping to get a party for an hour at least before linkshell event. I do get one with Thesage in Aydeewa Subterrane. We killed crawlers & spiders. We weren't making a whole lot of exp on each but we were chaining like crazy. The people seemed really nice. I would party with them again, but alas I forgot their names. Once it was really close to my linkshell event, I had to leave. I wished them well. I go to the Mea telecrag cause we gonna take another stab at finishing COP-Mea. All who came were Frizzlefry, Kirinkage, Cyre, Loquat, Sketch, and Charion. That made 7 of us. So we decided to have the BLMs (Cyre & Charion) take turns. So we head on our way once everyone was together. We formed an alliance. Somehow in climbing the floors we lost Cyre & Charion. Then we saw them somewhere we had no access to. We spent like 2 hours trying to get everyone together. Cyre escaped and reentered, but Charion couldn't escape with him since he was not in the same party as Cyre. So Charion was left on the otherside & we got Cyre. Then Charion died. So we just told him to hp and we'll get him on the next run. So now we got everyone together. Tempers were short. We get to boss. We go in. We won on the first try. Hot damn. I even got 1500 experience. We were ecstatic. We left all happy. Cyre escaped us. Frizzle said a Beseiged is starting in 20 mins. I said I'm going, so was Frizzle and Cyre. So we head on choco to the closest OP so we can teleport home & tele to Whitegate for Beseiged. We got there in time. I got 3 other people to join party. I skilled up and got 781 experience. Overall today was an excellent night. I got a lot accomplished.

Breaking The Clouds

I get on,but what to do? After much deliberation, I decided to try out SMN with my buddy Shiva. I run off to LaTheine to do FOV. I chose page 1. Hey, now, I'm only 11. That was supposed to be my range & I was by myself. I had to kill 3 Wasps & 3 Saplings. I started with the Wasps. They are harder to do. They don't spawn as fast. I head to the crater where I can find them. I find one. I call out Shiva. Shiva kicked that Wasp's ass so fast I nearly missed the fight. What I did notice, is that Shiva sucks tons of MP. So, I decide to use Carby for the rest of the time. He doesn't suck too much MP. I finished my Wasp requirements and exit the crater for better footing. I find 3 Saplings easily. I whooped their asses. On my way back, I try to avoid Orcs. They check as Tough to Very Tough to me. I went my merry way. Guess what happened? You guessed right an Orc aggro'd me. But not just any Orc. A grappler. Those are tougher than the rest. I tried to call out Shiva. But the Orc seemed to interrupt my casting, or so I thought. I pull out my staff. If I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die fighting. As the grappler hit me again, guess who hit him back? Not I, but Shiva. I didn't think she came out. Shiva saved my ass!!!!!!! By time the fight was done, I had like 15 HP and 15 MP left. That was a close call. I LOVE SHIVA!!!!!! I made it back to FOV book in piece without aggro. I sat & rested there. With all that excitement, I decided to head back home. Once I zone into W Ronf, I decided to bring Carby out to be my bodyguard in case I get aggro'd. He was a great bodyguard too. I aggro'd 2 Goblins. He took out one while I took out the second. I got back to castle and I still had a lot of MP remaining. Carby is MP efficient. I love him too. I changed back to RDM and threw my seek flag. I get a party immediately. We fighting those birds again. I really don't get anything from them. I do level to 64 though. So when I noticed Beseiged going to start I told party I was leaving to do Beseiged. So the party decided to break up. I was going to find them a replacement. But one of the members told me to stay in party because he wants to do Beseiged too. So we both walk back to Al Zhabi from Bhaflutt Thickets. Beseiged is on. I get Frizzlefry and others in my party. I die. I get a lot of skill ups. I love Beseiged. I hate the lag & the deaths. But the good thing, we don't lose exp from Beseiged. I try to level my dark & elemental skills. I'm doing pretty well. Just need to keep on doing Beseiged. Since I turned 64 I decided to just get Limit Break out of the way. It supposedly the easiest one. So I run to Jeuno to speak to the infamous Maat. He tells me I have to give 4 people throughout Vana'diel a Kindred Seal. He will notify them himself of my coming. But does he tell me who the people are? That would be too easy. He gives me 4 hints. Out of the 4 hints, I know of 1 person with 100% accuracy. 2 of the them I have no clue. The last one I believe I know who it is. So I run back to San D "supposedly to get my seals out of storage". Instead, I run to the explorer moogle in North San D and has me teleport me to Mhaura. I believe that the 4th person who I believe it is to be there. But of course I don't remember the name. So I check good old Wiki. I read the who the person is. Of course I was wrong. I just shelled out 300 gil to go to the wrong place. Now I pay another 300 gil to get back, so sad. So I check all the people I need to go to on Wiki. So I decide to do guy in Bastok first. So I go to explorer moogle again pay 300 gil to be teleported to Bastok. I go to Metalworks and find the guy. Can you guess what's wrong with the situation? I forgot my damned seals in storage all the way in f?????g San D. So I warp back to San D get my seals. Instead of going back to Bastok, I decide to go to do Port San D to give guy my seal. Guess what happens again? I forgot those damn seals again. I go into mog house & retrieve 4 and go back to guy in Port San D. 1 out of 4 completed. I go to explorer moogle again to teleport me to Windhurst. I find the guy and him gave him a seal. 2 out of 4 completed. I then go to explorer moogle in Windy to teleport me to Selbina. I find my 100% accurate guy & trade him his seal. 3 out of 4 completed. So now my 2nd to last stop is Bastok, again. I go to explorer moogle in Selbina to teleport me back to Bastok. In Bastok, I go back to the guy in MetalWorks. I trade him the seal. Finally all 4 seals are given out. So I decide which way is the most inexpensive way to get back to Jeuno. This quest has been expensive. I decide to catch the Airship. The airship is there. I pay my gil to the guy. I run down the jet way and the damn Airship took off without me. Gotdamnit!!!! Gotdamnit!! Gotdamnit!!! So I had to sit around for 10 minutes in the very unattractive Bastok port waiting on the next airship to arrive. I finally get to Maat. He congratulates me saying he knew I could do it and I've ascended about the clouds. Yada Yada Yada. I just want to go to bed. It was just an aggravating quest because of my senility and my foolheartiness.

Back to The Bump & Grind

I went to farm in Zi'Tah. Probably spent around 45 minutes farming. I had some competition. Farming is really boring. I'm not even getting good skill ups cause all the stuff is too weak to be worthwhile. So I got bored after a while. I left and went to Jeuno. Why I have no idea. But since I was there, I decided to try if I can flag Gobbiebag IV quest. So I run to Blufnixx in Lower Jeuno. I was able to flag it. Wow! I don't know what I'm doing that's increasing me Jeuno fame, but I need t do it some more. So I was able to gather all he material for the quest easily. So I trade them to the friendly gob. I get my inventory increased to 50 slots. Yay! So, I'm bored, so I decide to play with Ember a little. So I head back to San D and changed to DRG. I run to LaTheine to do FOV. I do, I think page 5, not sure. I died when I was killing an Akaba & 2 Orcs joined the fun. Then Thesage joined me. He made the excuse of wanting to skill up his healing skills. He justed wanted to hang with me. I don't mind. He's cool. After I finished FOV I just killed & I made him escort me to Dunes to powerlevel me against hairs and then lizards. He then had a Sky/Sea (can't remember which) event to go to so he warped me back to San D and he went to go meet up with his mates. Once back to San D, I changed back to RDM and found a party. Of course it was in Bhaflau Thickets against Colibri. I leveled to 63 in party so I was good before I logged for the day.

It's All In The Past

Just so you know, this post is really really long. Day 1 I get on because Kirinkage told me that Demicus was going to escort him to the past [S] so he can get allegiance with San D. I wanted to join in. So I logged on. I said hello to everyone. I get ready to head to Jeuno so I can find a shield on AH. As I was going, Thesage asked me to invite me to my party. I started the party. He gets in. He wanted me to protect him in Qufim, I guess. I told him I was heading to Battalia to enter the Cavernous Maw. He said he wanted to get something from AH for his NIN. On the way to Jeuno, in Qufim, we bump into Inchigo. I introduce the 2. I invite Inchigo into the party too. I am rushing to meet Kirin & Demi by the maw in Battalia. Thesage & Inchigo decides to join me in my quest to get my invitation and allegiance to San D in the past. So we choco to the maw in Battalia while Kirin & Demi are in Jugner [S] making their to me in Battalia [S]. We formed an alliance. We ended up meeting in Rolanberry [S] and created a party instead. We make our way to Garlaige Citadel [S] in Sauramonge Champaign [S] to get the red invitation card. Garlaige doesn't look bad in the past. No holes to fall through. Don't have to rely on the Banishing gates to get around the Citadel. We find the guy we needed to talk to. Since we were in Sauramonge [S] they decided those of us who didn't have the Maw unlocked must unlock it. So, Inchi, Kirin & myself unlocked it. So now we have to make our way from Sauramonge [S] to San d'Oria [S] on foot. As we head thru areas that have Maws, those of us who need to unlock them, did. I made it all the way thru to Jugner [S] without aggro. Thesage & Demi got aggro'd multiple times. Inchi had left us by time we got to Jugner [S]. Towards the end, my invisi wore off and I got aggro'd by a cute looking Lady Bug and then a Bee. I almost died. 3 hits I was down to 100 HP from 920 HP. We made it out of Jugner [S] alive and into East Ronfaure [S]. No Latheine!!!!! We make it into San d'Oria [S]. It's almost the same. It's prettier than the present. Then again, the past everywhere is prettier than the present. I turn in the invitation and my allegiance to San D [S] is granted. At this point Demi left us. Then we (Kirin & myself) started and finished the quest to become Knighted in the Iron Ram army of San D [S]. So now, if I want to, can do campaign battles. I then head back to the present to log off the game. Day 2 I get on early to party a little before Kakida came on so I can get some exp so if I die I won't level down. I start the party, this time. I got Thesage [DRG], Kirin [PLD], and another DRG, DRK and THF to party in Bhaflau Thickets. We do well then I had to replace a THF with a SAM. The DRK brought his other character to help with healing. Had to replace the DRG with a BRD. Before I knew it, I leveled to 61. By the end, I had enough of a cushion to die 4 times. Kakida never came on the game. The whole purpose was to help him get his mercenary in Whitegate. We would have to go Caedvre Myre, b.k.a. Imp haven, again. As from a previous post, I died 3 - 4 times there. Damn imps. Day 3 & 4 Kirin needs to level his mages for his DRG subjob, so I decided to be a nice sister and level up a job with him. Only job I have his level (level 3) is NIN to match his WHM. So I change into my gimped gear. We head out to W Ronf to level. We kill mobs. I believe we died 3 times. I got to level 9 twice. But we got bored so we stopped for the night. I realized the 2 pieces of gear I want will cost me 900k. I need to FARM!!!!!!!! So I set out to Zi'Tah to farm bats and gobbues. I really didn't get much by time I got bored. Farming requires patience. That I don't have. I did see Ghostdawg there. He was fishing. The other day he got me a scroll of enfire ii. So when I saw him I told him I was using the spell currently. I left Zi'Tah within one hour of being there. I head back to San D to start Mission 5-1. I need to get cracking on doing my missions again. I'm level 61 and still Rank 5. Also since, I started 5-1 and know 5-2 takes place in Fei'yin, I need to get map of Fei'Yin. Of course this map is only obtained by quest. This quest is in Windurst. To make matters worse, I have to do 5 other quests before I can even touch that quest along with having level 5 fame in Windy. So I head to Windy. I start one of the 5 prerequisite quests. It was very easy & I made 1.5k off of it. I figure, since I'm in Windy, I can do the Lure of Wildcat quest here to so I can teleport to party from here to. I am going to be in Windy for a while. I'm setting it as my homepoint for now. Ta ta for now.

The Worst Day Ever

I get on to play. I immediately get a party in Wajaom Woodlands. The party had a WHM named Jericho at the beginning of the party. We are fighting these things called Puks, a salamander with wings. Anyway, I'm doing my thing, enfeebling, hasting, and refreshing myself & Jericho. Now Jericho is spamming Cure IV instead of III's and he's constantly running out of MP. I help cure when I could. Can you sense when my day is starting to go south?

However, after a while, Jericho screams, "Tiger's not helping me at all, I'm leaving". Then he says to me "You are the worst RDM ever!". WTF?!? Because he can't manage his own MP I'm the worst. I kept every one refreshed, hasted, the mobs enfeebled and helped cure. I was thrown back. I have not had any issues with any other WHM from any other party here about what I'm doing.

I offered to leave party if they didn't like the job I'm doing. They said to stay. So I stayed, but now I'm doing both jobs because we couldn't find a mage. However, Jericho wasn't done with me. He started sending me harrassing tells, so I blacklisted him. He's the very first person who I've ever blacklisted in the game.

After a while, we all decided to participate in Beseiged as a party. This is when the day really start to go further south. As beseiged is under way, my sister, niece & nephew comes to visit my mom, who happens to be here. I greeted them really quickly because, I'm in Beseiged, not a time to be AFK. I came back and I nuked a mob & I died then I had to find a spot to heal. Reraise is a must in Beseiged. Then I get my first yell to come give my sister something. I go afk to give whatever to my sister, I come back I'm dead again. I'm good for probably 30 mins before the next yell comes, come cook your sister & her kids something to eat. So I ran to put something on stove. I come back I'm dead again. I heal in another corner, run check the food come back and play. I repeat this 2 more times to find out what I cooked was not enough. Damn it.

My mom not calling my bro, just me. It's a double standard that I'm not to keen about. I put some more stuff to cook and ran back to play. Did some nuking & some raising. Then my mom is yelling that my stuff should be done by now. I find another hidey hole to put my character so I can run to address my family needs. After 20-30 mins I get back, miraculously beseiged just ended & I'm alive. I get 1002 exp from it.

Now my party wants to play in Bhaflau Thickets killing regular Colibri. So we head there. I find out the hard way that enfeebling them are not worthy cause they bounce the spells back to me. I cast dia on Colibri, Tigerkirara is dia'd. So I just healed and hasted. I do this for a while. Then the most amazing thing happened.....I leveled to 60! I get to wear my hat!!!! Yay!

After maybe 3 more fights, I had to log. So I warped back home to San D. So I took a bunch of photos of myself. I played all day today. It was really rough because since Jericho, my confidence went to hell. I shouldn't have let him defeat my mood, but it did. So today was not the greatest.

Just One of Them Couple of Days.....

I have been on couple of days, but they were not so much consequential that I have to write separate blogs. So I'm going to bullet point them in outline form. I. I forgot to tell you about the crazy situation/conversation the other night; the night I got my robe (last time I played). Immediately after I log from game, I get a phone call from Titen. asked and told me that I should call him before I get on game. WTF!!!??!!! And then he goes on to to say that I don't want to level with him. I had to put him straight. I told him that I would never call him when I go onto game. And if I'm on game with him at the same time and I'm free to level with him I will. That was just way beyond weird. II. Day One A. I got on and started limit break 3 quest with Maat. I have to get 3 crests from the 3 strongholds. Damn them. I heard the places I have to go are ridiculously hard. Going to need some serious help. B. I get a party immediately when I threw my flag up. The party was pretty good. I didn't level though. Too much exp to gain and I didn't get that much the last time I played. I was having a good time too. It was late so I had to log. C. Upon logging, I tell Thesage goodnight and he says goodnight dude. So I had to correct him and tell him that I was a girl. He said he assumes all female characters on game were men. So I assured him I was a girl. III. Day Two A. Before I get on game, I get a text from Titen asking me to marry him on game. Can you guess my response? I told him no. I am not marrying anyone on the game unless it's my real life husband. B. I went to powerlevel Inchigo for a while in Valkrum Dunes. I said I'd powerlevel before I seek a party. I meet him in the Dunes. He told me to put my flag up if I'm looking for party. I told if I do, I'll get snatched really quickly. I'm in demand, lol. Just to make him happy I put my flag up. I think I healed him twice before I got a party. As I was responding to party leader, Inchigo got killed. I had to raise him. I'm such a bad powerleveler at times. Can't multitask my tells & my actions, lol. I raise and leave him. I headed to the party. I get there and within 20 mins the party disbanded. What a waste of gil. And I wasted an emperor band use. C. So since my party was finished, I went duoing with Thesage for half an hour. We went to Xarcabard. We fought gigas and a few tigers. Then we went to find the dragon that spawns there. We ran in circles and he found it. So we fought it and survived. It was a wussy dragon. After dragon, Thesage had to leave for Dynamis. D. Right after Thesage, I Envoy was waiting to duo with me. So instead of duoing, he decided to help me with my AF6 - my head piece aka Pimp Hat. So we head back to Xarcabard and head to Fei'Yin to fight Miser Murphy for my antique coin. After all the walking we did to get to Fei'Yin I didn't get the stupid cut scene that will trigger Murphy to spawn. So it ended up a wasted trip. Damn. So I warp back to San D and Envoy leaves for Dynamis. E. Since I'm stubborn, I didn't want to log off. So I decided to try the Feast of Swords event in town. I already gotten my ibushi sunai from the moogle earlier. I thought I was going to get an anniversary ring. So I chose to go as my DRG/WHM since I'd have an extra help in hurting the rogue samurai. Okay I tried 3 times. Ember and I died 3 times. That was enough for me. I did make sure that I had Regen & Refresh on from the Field Book. That saved me from instant deaths numerous times. Ah got to love another FFXI event that levels you down to 1. IV. Day Four A. I get on without an objective. So I decided to buy some spells. I know I'm missing 1 or 2 spells. Plus I wanted to buy Paralyna because I've been asked about that so many times. So I bought 3 spells: Blizzard 2, Thunder 2 and Paralyna. I need to get Shell 3. That's was my main goal. I may have to go to Jeuno for it. B. As I was hunting for spells I had my seek party flag up. I got a party. It was a pretty good set up: 2 rdm/whm, war/nin, pld/war, blu/nin, mnk/war. However, finding where to camp was a bit tricky. We ended up in Bhaftau Thickets. My first time there. So we finally made camp and started to party really well. I leveled to 59. However, I had to leave soon, so I got a SAM replacement for me since we already had a RDM in party. I now have to concentrate on getting LB3 and get my AF6. I'm heading into the terrible 60s as they say. I'm looking forward to it. I here LB4 is a piece of cake. So I really have to concentrate on leveling dark and my elementals so I can face Maat for LB5.

About To Graduate from Pimp College

I get on to play. I mean to level. I want 58 so bad. So I put up my party flag when I got on. I got a party invite immediately. I warp immediately to Whitegate. I get into party. I am like the 3rd person in party. I get sanction. It's still only 3 people. So I sit down by sanction guy. I'm just chilling waiting for party to get on with it. I then get this tell from some dude named Envoy, "You got to change your bazaar comment". I respond ok. Then he goes on to say "It says your level 53 and your 56. As I change it, I say thank you. Then he starts chatting me up. He's very funny. The party says they found a tank. So I make my way to chocobo guy. So does one of the SAM. We sit there waiting again because the tank had to leave. This was getting very frustrating. However, new guy is trying to get me to leave party to come powerlevel him in Saramoungue Champaign. I was thinking about it too. But we found a replacement for the tank. By time we were ready to head out, the main camps were taken. So we started off at a camp in location F-9. We do well. I was still talking with Envoy at the same time. We were missing one of our 6. He was still in Whitegate. So I convinced Envoy to come to the party. He came as WAR. By time he arrived, we changed camp, don't remember location, but it's close to the leypoint. So we get to chaining birds. I level to 57 really quickly. Envoy was still chatting me up. He's funny. we chain so more. Then the tank, sam, and Envoy had to leave. Somehow, I got caught with leader role again. I get a BRD, & 2 DRG. One of the DRG was named Thesage. So we ready to rock, but Thesage is being all quiet. We thought he was afk (away from keyboard), but then he responds, "Oh, I was just reading someone's blog :P". W get down to busines. We killing left and right. we even moved camp again. This time to ley point. As we are fighting Thesage is chatting me up as well as Envoy. Then it hits like 1:00 am. My eyes were burning me. I had to go, but I only had 1.1k left to level to 58 and I so wanted to wear my robe so I can cover my ass. So I braved it and stuck it out. I level and I put on my robe immediately. Yay!!!!! I warped home. I barely shut down game before I fell asleep.

I'm Getting There... Surely...

I get on to maybe party. To maybe find some people to help me with my coffer for AF4 in Garlaige. I throw my flag up for party. While I was waiting for a party. I spoke with Kakida, Kainbelmont, Cyricbelhart and the gang on ClanBelmont. Titen even contacted me. So as I was talking I decided to try the Eggstravaganza again. This time the moogles were not giving out letter eggs. Oh well. Kainbelmont sent me a tell in game, outside linkshell talk telling me that he read my blog. Oh my goodness. I don't even remember telling him I had a blog. Thank you very much Kain. Titen said he was farming a party. Instead of asking me, he said I must gather together in Whitegate. I get there and got invited to the party. We found out that the chocobo guy in Al Zahbi was kidnapped. That meant we had to run to camp by the ley point. Me, took me forever, since I never had to run there by myself. I'm usually on a chocobo following someone. I got there without aggro. We chained really well. Within a half an hour I leveled to 56. My emperor band wears out quickly. However, I had to go an hour later from leveling. I now only have 6k from leveling to 57. Yes! My goal for next time is to get my AF4 from Garlaige Citadel and my AF5 from Castle Oztroja. I'm supposed to be wearing my pants right now at 556. I need 3 people to help me with Garlaige.

Frozen Hell to Arabian Knights

Got on like I promised Titen. I started talking to folks on my linkshell, Clan Belmont. Someone asked me what I was going to do. I said I wanted to finish my AF3. Demicus volunteered to help me. So I meet him in N San D by teleport guy. We teleported to Xarcabard (Vhazl) and high tailed it to Vhazl Baileys to fight Dark Spark NM. We did it pretty smoothly and fast. After fight, I get my item and we both warped out. I had set my homepoint to Jeuno just for this reason. I ran to Port Jeuno and got my gloves!!!! Yay!! It all took 20 mins. That's the fastest I've ever accomplished something. So now I check my friends list to see if Titen is on. He is. I contact him. And of course, we get into an argument. He called me a liar because "supposedly I said I was going to do something & I didn't" I promised to party with him today. That's why I contacted him. Then he goes how he saw me get my AF3. I said yeah. It only took me 20 mins. Then he complained that how come he can't party with my friends. I said there's isn't any reason he can't unless I'm with Ghostdawg. He asked me why and I told him that he has him blacklisted. Then he retorts that he can't please everyone. I don't need him to please anyone. So I asked do you still want to party, he said no he's busy. So I left him alone. So I just contacted Inchigo, who was on by the way. We decided to duo together in Kuftal Tunnel. We did really well until Inchi got disconnected which left me to die. I can't even scratch those crabs. During the time I tried out composure, my new job ability thanks to the April update. I hp'd once I died. I had set my hp back to San D. Good thing. Once back in San D, I throw my seek party flag up. It's time to get some experience going. So while I wait, I decided to parrticipate in the eggstravaganza event. There was a mass of people around the event moogle. It was crazy. The lag was ridiculous. People was just appearing spontaneously. I didn't get anything but an "I" egg. There were egg sellers too. People just capitalizing on the event, lol. After a while, I got a party invite for Wajoom Woodlands. It was a pretty cool party. I was able to level to 55 in this party. Ghostdawg joined my party for a while. I somehow became lead again. After a while I got sleepy. I told everyone I had to go because at that point I could barely keep my eyes open. The party disbanded. I warped out of Wajoom and logged for the night. Today was a very productive day. I got my AF3 and I leveled. Not bad.
