Diabolical Buburimu

So it's been a while again that I've been on the game. However, I've been on since my last post, basically like 4 hrs in total. I mostly farmed & helped a friend. Nothing major.

So I decide to get on today to see if I can do Maat and if I can get COP 3-5 done. I couldn't do dynamis if I didn't beat 3-5 anyway. Tonight was Buburimu. 

I get on and Darksday was just ending. Damn it. So I started farming. I went to Giddeus to farm. As I was farming I was discussing with my linkshell, NPF, that I need to get 3-5 done and if anyone wants to help me. Zannon, DRG and  Solesiren, WHM said they'll help immediately. These 2 are down for everything. Then Frizzlefry said he'll come as DRK. Woot now there's 4 of us, now I need to coax 2 other people. So I was able to get Rethem, DRK and Vourant WAR.  So we were to meet in 30 mins.

I decided to finish things up in Giddeus and go post myself at place in Beaucidine. I had to do some work. I only sat there for probably 20 mins before people started to show up. Zannon and Vourant showed up first. Both of them are dying for me to beat the old man that they gave me stuff to help with the fight. They are so sweet. So we waited for the rest of the folks. When everyone arrived we ran in.

There were some logistical issues. We all got lost besides Frizz and Zannon. I was the 3rd person to find the spot without aggro. Sole, Vourant, Reth were still lost. Sole got aggro. Frizz went back to find them. Vourant made it to us. Rethem then went to help Sole out. Frizz & Reth died. They hp'd and came back. Then Reth made it to us & Frizz got lost. LMAO!!!!! So we are together again and before I clicked the burning circle Frizz & Rethem clicked and entered the Waking Dreams  fight which was the prime avatar battle. So they both were a wrap. So they hp'd & came back. So I told them to wait until I click it.  So I click and entered and got my cutscene. When the cs was done we went to the fight. We killed it in the 1st attempt. No one fell nor did they die. Woot!!!!! I can now go to Outland dynamis!!!! Yay!!

I thanked everyone for their help. Frizz says he's not going to this fight ever again. I don't blame him, even though he kicked ass.  I went to finish this mission in Jeuno. I then went to station myself in Buburimu for dynamis later that evening.



I come back to the game in time for dynamis. I was sitting next to Rethem.

I ended being in the pulling team with a little bit of damage dealers. So I followed peeps to our first camp where we got the win.

After getting the win, we took on nightmare crabs. There I died my first time. Then we tried nightmare efts next. Then we tried the nightmare rerab. One of those wiped the whole team, lol. We were not on our game at that point. So that was my 2nd death.  We left the to try the nightmare  crow. That was a wipe too when 24 crows came a calling. That was death 3. When we rose we took on the nightmare crawlers. Those were pretty easy. We knocked them out and got drops as we were running out of time. We got 4 gear in less than 10 mins. Good times.

Tomorrow is the long awaited update. Level cap increases to 80.

It's About Time....... Right?

Okay it's been a while that I have posted. This is my busy season as I stated before. Taxes and such, yay! So much for my gaming life. I'm going to break up my adventures in categories that way you can get a gist what I've been up to. There can be days in between but I'm summizing what has occurred.

Maat:
I decided to try my luck at Maat again after a hiatus of trying. Itdidn't go so swell. Normally I'm close to a win, but this try was likemy first couple of runs. The minute he saw me, he didn't sleep and he thundered me and asurian fist me. Instant death. I was trying the strategy to run in sleep him then put on my buffs. This way he didn't put on any of his buffs. Well it was a great thought that didn't come into fruition.

COP:
We tried to do mission 3-5. We got Zannon and Frizzlefry to help us(me, Kirinkage, Lordkaosu and Solesiren). Our other member Gunrockwent ahead and did 3-5 the day we all did 3-3. We tried him like 5
times. We nearly won once. Sole and Kirin both fell when the floor fell away during fights. We would've tried again but most of thepeople had to go to Sky. Next time we try, we need 2 DRKs instead of one. Or a BLU. Anyone with Stun ability. Diabalos is pretty tough. But at least he's one person and not 3.

Leveling:
I leveled BLM to 10. I now have some intereztig spells to work with now. My BLM will be a bit gimp because I am not buying/questing anyaga spells. I may just get sleepga only. Job is only going to 37. I want retrace & warps only. Only reason I'm leveling it as a sub. That and not having to be main healer in some parties.

Skill Ups:
Been FOV'in in Terrigan with Titen while leveling Romidant. First time with Titen, he had to run to camp a turtle in Valley of Sorrows. I decided to try a bunny. Hey if I was able to handle a crab on my own, I should be able to handle a bunny right? Wrong. I had to call for help. Romidant was doing better than myself. I also think my downfall in that fight was I was not paying 100% attention to the fight. I had like 3 people sending me tells and my ls was heating up with good chatter.

The second time we were able to do 2 pages. Romi leveled to 34 (yes, Idon't level him often). My sword skill reached 203 and I learned Vorpal Blade weaponskill; even though I can't use it as a RDM. Titen said that my sword will cap at 250. 47 levels to go.

Fame:
Been doing quests here and there trying to get fame, but it's moving slowly. Items for repeat quests aren't dropping. I started Synergy quest with Kirin. We never completed the quest though. I will probably get Diabalos before I get Ramuh, Ifrit, Titan and Fenrir. We do know Fenerir was going to be last anyway. Have to do fights over again. For all the standard avatars except Diabolos. I will probably help Kakida with Shiva and Garuda to get those whispers.

Dynamis:
Haven't done dynamis in 2 weeks. Last Sunday was Qufim and I don't have access yet. The last one I believe I did was Xarcabard. Again, I didn't get anything since my gloves in Bastok. Oh well. Today there isn't any dynamis because of the Super Bowl. Hopefully at next run Ican get a piece of gear for RDM or SMN. And maybe I'll pass 3-5 by then too.

Now we come to depressing news. My internet is wonky. I am losing packets. So over past week or so we'vr been getting Dc'd a lot. So Cablevision is coming again to try to solve the issue.

Well TTFN

Chasm of Hell

So today is our weekly COP mission. It's time to tackle 3-3. We knew this one was going to be a long pain in the ass mission. We had to hit all 3 nations plus do some ex tenuous work out in the field. So I gathered everyone in San D where mission starts. I use my collar to quickly get to San D. I run off to N San D when I got party together. Lordkaosu and Kirinkage was there already. We had to wait for Gunrock.
So we did all the cut scenes needed in San D. I miss that place. The story line for this leg of the mission was a fact finding mission mixed with a bible class. Not so much interesting. We had to go to Carpenter's Landing to spawn and kill an NM and talk to a man. It was pretty boring. When cut scene done, we had to go back to San D one last time. I figured I could use my collar again. I find out that I couldn't while everyone warped. I was the only Windy resident. So I had to warp back to Windy. I actually got to use my Nexus cape for the first time. I also needed to get a warp cudgel because for the life of me, I couldn't find the one I already have. So while everyone was trying to find their way to Windy, I bought 2 cudgels. When I was ready to use one, I noticed that there was 3 in my inventory. Oh wow, I bought and extra for nothing.
I warped back to Windy and started the cut scenes. This story line by far is the funniest I've encountered in the game. It was all "who's my daddy" drama with Tarus. They say cats breed a lot with whomever, but these tarus man. They be siring offspring and running away.
So after the cut scene we had to go to Attowha Chasm. Never been there before. None of us has a map so we have to depend on directions from wiki.

So we start running looking for loose sand. I get lost from pack because of Internet issues and looking at laptop for directions. So I am lost and pissed off. Easy way to piss me off is to get me lost. Lk had to come get me. I got item needed. They had already spawned and killed NM. Now here comes the fun. You have half an hour to get the item up the mountain. Not as easy as it sounds.
We run around looking for the ramp up he mountain. All the while internet is threatening to DC me and Kirin. After 10-15 mins we find the itty bitty ledge we had to use. When I say itty bitty, if you make one sudden incorrect move you fall. So that was happening a lot to us. We ran out of time so we had to go get key item again. The problem now is we couldn't find our way back to loose sand again. We finally found it and got item and we added Ferrok to the party. Then we try to find ledge again.
We find it. I tell Kirin not to leave me like they all did before. So I'm following Kirin up the ledge when guess what?!?!? I dc'd. Then Kirin dc'd. That means we have to get the damn item again when we get back on. So when Kirin and I finally make it back online we had to get a new item again. However, when we got back, Ferrok needed a new crystal too. So we all (except Gunrock who found his way to the top) went to try again up the mountain. I make good, but Oboro needs to go. He was in the way. By this time Titen joined our party. He was coming to help us. Then Ferrok got in my way for a minute. Then guess what!?!?!? I frickin' fall. I screamed. My bro heard me 2 flights down. Had to start all over again. Told them to wait so I can find my way to them. When I caught up with them, we managed to make it all the way to the top in time. I get my new 3 items. We all just warped to Windy for cut scenes.
Then last leg of this mission was in Bastok. Luckily, the explorer moogle is out so we get to use it. Yay! Got last cut scene in Bastok and high tailed my ass back to Windy. I am done for the night. Let's put this way, we started this mission at 7 pm. It is now 12:30 am. Good 2.5 hours were spent in Attowha. I have grown a large distaste for this area just from doing this mission.
My feelings: WTH was SE thinking on this mission. There was no way in hell we would've found the slope up the damn mountain. There was not any type of signifier showing that you could climb. They really made this mission nearly unreasonable. I hate this one now more than the memmets fight. The map of this place is worst than the Elshimo maps. I heard that SE tamed down COP missions, but judging from 2-5 & 3-3, the whole COP series is going to have me cursing and pissed off. Makes me wonder if I want to continue doing COP until the end. I didn't get to take too many pics this run. I forgot to take pic in Carpenter's Landing. I only took pics of the entrance to Attowha because after the second pic above, getting pissed off and lost was more prevalent.

I Finally Did It!!

Before you assume, no I did not beat Maat. I figured trying Maat my
first day back from a hiatus would not be beneficial. May put me in a
bad mood and I would log off game. Let me smooth my way back into the
groove first.
So I get on and decided to try COP 2-5 again. I got Lordkaosu,
Kirinkage, another LS mate named Gunrock. The 4 of us needed the win.
LS mate Arisonsbaby joined us as a WHM. We needed a 6th person now. I
hate this mission and a lot of people hate it too. Thus very few
people will be willing to help.
The 5 of us make it to Tavnazian Safehold. I send out help tells. My
friend Envoy was a jerk to me again. Asked him to make a shout for me
and he had to be rude. Anyway, I was getting discouraged becausebI
couldn't find anyone. I went to Valor Kingdom and Stormys Knights LS
looking for help. They both were near empty. I was getting more
disheartened by the moment.
Arisonsbaby became the winner though. She got her friend Darkscyther
to help us. So here's our party set up: me-RDM, AB-WHM, Dark-RDM,
Kirin-PLD, LK-NIN, Gun-NIN. Not bad. So we run to Riverne-StA-01
(however you spell it).
We had to farm 2 giant scales before we were able to get to fight
arena. The 4 of us who needed fight had to get into fight arena and
get our cutscene and then run away. This wa way we could get full time
for fight. We tried 2 strategies.
1st strategy: Each of healers took one Tank. Each Tank took one
Memmet. Let's say thia didn't work very well. I was catching a lot of
hate casting cure II. So my little team died. Then it was Gun's team
then Kirin's. Kirin is super tank!
2nd strategy: This strategy was much like the one we tried in the
past. However our party make up were different. So Gun kitedb2 memmets
while the other tanks worked on one. I stayedbin middle healing Gun an
when my MP ran I switched places with Dark. By this time, they were
done with first memmet and they retrieved another one from Gun. When
my MP came back I enfeebled the 2nd memmet and and healed at timrs.
Gun ended up fighting he 3rd memmet. Dark started to run out of MP.
Gun died in battle, so Dark had to kite the 3rd memmet. The 2nd memmet
was dead and they grabbed 3rd from Dark. I continued to try and
enfeeble the last memmet. Then when the timer came back, I converted,
raised Gun and went back to enfeeble. Man we finally killed the last
memmet.
My goodness!!! This mission was a pain in the ass. We finally beat it.
Yay!!! I totally forgot to take pics.
The mission dropped us in S Gustaberg, so he 4 of us who needed COP
went ahead and completed missions 3-1 and 3-2. At the end we made
plans to do mission 3-3 and 3-4 next Tuesday. I'm getting closer to
dreamlands dyna and diabolos avatar. Yay!!

Those GotDamn Memmets.... Zilarts Suck

It's COP day again. We have a total of 11 people who showed up. So to make it even, I asked my friend Thesage if he could come assist us. He has passed this part in his FFXI career. So it was Kirinkage PLD,
Solesiren WHM, Chayst NIN, Baknah NIN, Kadiana BLU, Thesage NIN,
Bradchi DRK, Inchigo WAR, Kryscella MNK, Darksanzo PLD, Naquel PLD or MNK and myself RDM. We really needed more mages and dd's to make 2successful parties. We will have to work with what we have. So we get everyone together and head out for Riverne#A01 (I think that's what the place is called). We did well for getting there. Then once we got thru displacement that's when strife started.
Everyone won't listen. Lots of AFKs. We still had to kill a wyvern for another scale. I tell everyone we are following Naquel but that was extremely hard to do. We do not have maps for this place. We get to the first distortion that I have to trade scale to, people afkd. I threatened that I am trading now and if they were not ready we were leaving without them. Everyone went thru.
We get to second scale trading distortion and went thru the same crap at the first one. After we get thru we rest for a second to start casting invisible and whatever for travel. So we run and get to the displacement that leads to fight. We are missing 2 people. Apparently they went AFK. So they had to make it us.
One ended up in argument because someone told her to look at map to find us. Then she called person a jerk. She died on the way and the other made it to the group. So I went to raise her and requested back up to go find her. So we get all the way back to start and I couldn't find her. I don't know who aggro'd bomb from my back up squad but it was the beginning of mass death. As I am looking for the dead one my back up squad started to die. I was going to just leave them becaus I was not aggro'd but my kind heart said to help since they came to help me. Lol. (For those who didn't realize, that last sentence was a joke.)
So I tried to heal and get aggro'd myself. We all dead. Solesiren came to raise us. I don't have rr since AH was empty rr earrings that day. She gets aggro'd and died. I believe she died multiple times trying to raise us. Bradchi went to find the dead one and tractor her back to the group by the distortion. However he got aggro'd in the end.
I'm tired and frustrated. I felt like we were in dynamis. After all this we got everyone up and into the fight zone. Now we sit and decide what to do. We got lots of arguments on how to do things. We tried 6 times where the final time was the best. We were able to kill one memmet. But dd party died while fighting the second. I was healing NIN who was kiting the last memmet. So that meant we all were gonna die. But by far that was he best run.
If the dd party sat to heal to full after first memmet died before they pulled the second, they could've knocked it out again. So by time we get the 3rd memmet we'd have extra damage from the NIN.
I was too frustrated so I didn't bother go to dynamis afterwards. I just logged off.

Laying on My Back

Saturday
It's Zilart mission day. Let's get Sky access!!! So only Maryjanette WHM, Frizzlefry PLD, Kirinkage DRG and myself RDM showed up. So we end up going to Delkfutt Tower. MJ and I met Frizz in Delkfutt Tower. We are on the 10tt/11th Floor. We decided to try to get me a RDM testimony while we wait for Kirin. Kirin didn't have elevator key so he had to walk up all the stairs and avoid mobs. No testimony dropped. So we ended up doing the fight. It went pretty good with just us 4. We passed the fight alive. That completed ZM 8.

After the fight, MJ and Frizz had to go. So I convinced Kirin to do the cutscenes for the next couple of missions. We had to go to Norg. So we both bickered on direction. We finally get to the open area in Yhuntunga where you can see the waterfall but can't go down unless you find correct hole. So I was not paying attention and went to get a better look at a flower, I fell down the correct hole. So now I had to try to direct Kirin to correct hole. That took a while but he finally found it. We got thru the grotto into Norg. Can you believe it, I was able to walk thru Norg without having to cast sneak?!? Well we find NPC we were to talk to. Then we warped back to home. We had to fo to Ro'Maeve next. We had to click on a door in the Hall of the Gods. After this we are supposed to go back to Norg. However, we called it a night.

Sunday
So it COP 2-5 day. Only 6 of showed up: Inchigi DRG, Darksanzo PLD, Solesiren WHM, Naquel MNK, Chayst NIN and myself RDM. This was to be a hard fight. We had to farm scales and find our way to the fight. None of us have maps for the area. It took us a while to farm because we didn't have a THF. We finally get to the fight area. We lost the fights big time. We tried 5 times before we called it a day. It's was frustrating. They made COP a bit too hard. I swear each of those Memmets are like level 60 for our measly level down of 40. Whatever they are, they are ????ing hard.



After COP, Inchi asked me to duo. I said I only have 3 jobs level 15. So he came as RNG 16, and I came SMN. Then we got Ciddester to join as a dd job. But he brought Panzer with him to powerlevel us. We didn't have much time because Inchi & I had Dynamis in like 30 mins. Both Inchi & Cidd gained a level and I didn't. Oh well. I wasn't wearing an experience ring.

I leave to go to do dynamis in Beaucidine Glacier. Immediately tell them that I had to leave at 9 pm. Minibasta gave me 2 poison pots that I totally forgot about. He's a sweety. Anyway, I get in Naquel's party. I also join the Skype call. It was interesting listening to the voices behind the characters. Before I left we had mass murder. We didn't even get to the area where we needed to use the poison pots. Oh well. I left at 9 as I said I was.

Trials of Leadership

I got my Chains of Promethia COP static party going. I have Chayst RDM, Solesiren WHM, Kadiana BLU, Kirinkage PLD, Inchigo DRG, Naquel MNK, Kryscella MNK and Darksanzo PLD. So we have to go kill a Minataur & then go retrieve a mysterious package in the Aqueducts beneath Tavnazian Safehold. Getting everyone organized was tough. We have a lot of strong personalities.

Once everyone was in attendance, we started our journey through the Aqueduct. Sneak was a must. We all were leveled down to 40 and there are some True Sight mobs there too. As we make our way towards to farm a "Bronze Key" for the door, we had had couple of deaths from the true sight mobs. There was a point someone aggro'd 2 of those mobs. We finally stopped dying.


Somehow, Naq ran off past us after we got key. He ended up in a room somewhere full of Fomors. He had a huge amount of Fomor hate. So of course he died. Sole offered to come raise him, but he said he's gonna HP because he's in middle and she would end up dying too. So we wait for Naq to come back. While we wait, we fight off the slimes that aggro'd us.

Okay Naq finally makes it back but he's lost. Sole offered to find him. The rest of us were sitting healing our MP & HP. Next we knew we were in a battle for our lives against the Minataur we were going to look for. The funny part is the LS chat saying multiple "WTF!!!!" and Sole saying "Sorry ^^". Lol. She ran past Minataur while looking for Naq. In the end we fought minataur with only 3 deaths. I had to rush them out of the room after the raises. Minataur has a fast respawn.

We made it to our puzzle that we needed to do. Getting them to help find the room with the puzzle was annoying. Half of the team sped past me and entered wrong room. I found the correct room. I had to let them out of their room so they can get to correct room. Getting them to press the correct switches was a struggle. We had to press the Dark & Light switches simultaneously. However, Dark kept pressing his switches. Ugh.... was so annoyed. We got it together. Then we finally made it into the room and got our cutscene.

Aftr cutscene we had to warp out because none of us were going to attempt to find our way back to get killed by the Minataur or true sight mob. So we meet back in Tav Safehold. We get our next cutscenes in Safehold & in Misearux Coast.

Next mission is 2-5. We have to fight 3 Memmets. I hear this mission is a big pain in the ass too. And it's also leveled down to 40. Damn!! I miss my refresh & convert.

After all day doing COP, I decided to spend an hour with Kainbelmont duoing in the Dunes. So I brought out my SMN. We were the same level at that point. Within the hour, he was able to level to 16. I didn't get a level. It was nice duoing with Kainy. Haven't duo'd with him since my capping of my magic skills.

It's Been Awhile... I'm Sorry

I'm sorry I haven't been posting my adventures lately. I usually blog my adventures during lunch time at work, but work has been ridiculously busy. With all the stuff going at work,I have accomplished a lot in game. I will try to remember everything I've accomplished. My time was fulfilling and exciting. My linkshell is getting ever popular. I've met a lot of people. Apparently a lot of people have found me. I am getting a lot of tells in games saying they like my blog.

Okay, let's get onto the game stuff. It's been a great few weeks.

We did Dynamis Jeuno on the June 27th. This is like my 3rd Dynamis run. We've been really successful on my runs. I haven't gotten any gear yet. I've don't have enough points yet. However, we won this run. As we congregated to enter, Titen sent me a tell. He had me buy some expensive shit on the AH. He gave me the gil for it. But now people gonna think I have gil, which I don't. So we head in. My console didn't freeze. We make our way to the boss. We get to AH in the zone and we killed the boss. Yay us BLMs & RDMs. I survived the win. However, we still have time, so we decided to farm. Well we got slaughtered. They pull way too many mobs that we can't handle. When both alliances are annihilated you know it's bad. This happened twice before we called it a day.

Kainbelmont wanted me, Kirinkage & Frizzlefry to do Sand'Oria rank missions. So we got together and conquered missions 6-1 and 6-2 that gave us Rank 7 and some really good gil. We fight some sort of fish I think in middle of a pond in West Altepa and running around. Now we need to get our rank points filled to start 7-1 & 7-2.

Sat June 27th we attempted to do COP Promyvian-DEM. We got Loquat, Charion, Sketch, myself, Kakida and someone else that I can't remember. We get thru all the floors with 2 deaths, me & Loquat, but when we finally got to the spire, Kakida fell asleep. So we had to call it a night. We couldn't do the boss fight without a damage dealer. So we left. We made the second attempt July 5th. We had me, Loquat, Charion, Phaet, Frizzlefry and Kakida again. We made it up to spire with 3 deaths, me, Kakida and Loquat. Thank goodness we don't lose experience. We go in the first time, we all died. We made a second attempt. I pretty much kited the add-ons for the mobs. And then we won while I was kiting the add-ons. Yay!!!! Loquat & I got transported to Lufaise Meadows. Our first time there. Yay!! Frizzy met us there and walked us to Tavanzian Stronghold.

Once in Tav, we did quest to get map for the area. It was pretty easy with Frizz leading the way. Had to find a hairpin on one of the top floors. So now, whenever I go there, I will know where I'm going. Yay!! Can't wait to do the supply run there when San D owns it again. I don't even know how to get there, much less what I should do in that area.

Theid wanted to get his AF head for his DRG, so he had to go to Temple of Uppleiah or as I call it Ugglapugala. He was asking for help so Kain decided to have Frizz, me, Loquat, Sketch & Kirin start Zilart Mission 4. So we go into the temple, kill stuff for AF and to get lantern for ZM4. Then on July 2nd, we went back to light the lantern & kill NM for mission. In the end I get back my lantern.

Did some partying to level RDM as much as possible. I was able to get level 69 with at least a 2 death buffer. Meaning I only had 6k into the level. I need 32k to get to 70. Can you believe it? I'm almost 70. Everyone complained that the 60s were a bitch to go thru. It wasn't so much of a bitch to me if you exclude the amount of exp you need to get to each level. I got a lot of parties throughout the 60s.

I also started ZM5 with Frizzle & Kain. They've done most of it the day we finished ZM4. So I got my cement tomb item in Behemoth Cavern. I have never been there before. I didn't know the entrance was in Qufim. I am learning things everytime I play.

I also did skilling ups in Beseiged. My favorite place. My dark is now 104. Pretty good. Just gotta raise it another 100 levels. That's the hard thing to do in such a short amount of time.

We did Dynamis-Windurst July 5th. We died massively. We didn't even beat the boss. My 6k buffer went to 2k by the end. Thanks to keeping up Reraise. It was horrible. It also broke our winning streak. So far, I have gotten San D, Bastok & Jeuno. Needed Windy to be able to get to other dynamis zones. Hopefully we get to go again this Sunday. My sense of not being defeated is pounding in my head.

TTFN

Holla'd Out The Promy

COP day again. This time it's me, Kirinkage, Loquat, Frizzlefry, Sketch and Charion. Everyone was on time except for Charion. We were supposed to start at 9 PM. We didn't get to start until 10 pm. Then we finally got everyone together & went in. I died when I got aggro'd and they all left me, lol. But they were getting massacred too. I got raised and continued up the floors. Frizzlefry died too. It was just an annoying trip to the boss. We get to the boss. Our frustrations were showing, but we hunker down. We discuss strategy as we rested up from an annoying journey. We go in. We buff up. We poison ourselves. I'm casting cures & slows. To the point I couldn't cast anymore because I don't have any more mp. I take my grape juice found a corner to heal a bit. I get up to heal when I can afford to. The last time I get up I was about to heal someone, but as I started to cast, the creature, buckled under its weight and died. WE WON!!!!!!!! Frizzle, Sketch & Kirin were instantly teleported to Lufaise Meadow. The rest of us mages were teleported out of Promy and ended up outside the Tele-Crag. That was 1/1 tries for Holla. Mea was 1/6 tries. DEM is next weekend. I hope we get 1/1 there too.

On The Road to becoming a High Level Player!

Day 1 I get on and get an offer to powerlevel a party when I threw my seek flag up for a party. Cool. I meet up the party at lizard camp in Dunes, then we went to the cliff, then we went to the oasis. I kind of got bored after a while. Kirinkage came to help me for a split second. By time he came, he got a party and left. I think I was powerleveling for 2 hours. Starfirex from my CB came to check me out. He/She (I really don't know) told me that he/she always thought I was a Mithra because of my name. Lol, that would be too cliche. Thesage was doing nothing and I convinced him to come to the Dunes to give me what he told me he had for me. Of course he didn't remember what it was so I had to give him hints. He did come though. I wanted him to rescue me from powerleveling. I was getting distractedly bored. I was slipping on the healing. I got 40k in gil from the guy who contacted. I got Rhelic from CB to replace me as powerleveler. I know he is looking to earn so gil too. When Thesage came, we walked to Selbina. He traded me a pearl to his linkshell. We pal around Selbina for a minute. He warped me home, but we still kept party to chat in. I also got a tell from Envoy. He want to show me his completed Relic weapon, along with the exclusive weapon skill. So when he arrived in San D, I invited him to party. Then we, Envoy & I went into E Ronf to show me the weapon skill against a poor defenseless rabbit. Day 2 Today was all about getting skill ups & running errands or so I thought. I get on to find out Beseiged is going to start. Yay!!!! So I hightailed it to Whitegate to find a party for Beseiged. I get a party with Mnace, his sister Devilishangel, Kneeru and some other CB members. However, it was a good 20 mins before Beseiged started. During this time, there was this huge argument via shouts in Al Zahbi. It was hilarious. This little Taru named Sippykupp was complaining about Beseiged taking too long, then someone had to make a remark that set Sippy off. That was a 20 min argument, lol. It was the best. Had all of us cracking up. Sippy ended up in an alliance with my party. I had a good beseiged, I only died 3 times. At the end I got 1558 experience. Beseiged ends. What to do? Envoy sent me a tell asking me if I was busy. I said I just finished Beseiged. He said he was free for a short while and if I needed anything done. I said sure. I need the staging point for Mount Zhalyom. If I'm going to try to party there, I need to get the staging point. So he invited me into his party. We take chocobo to Bhaflau Thickets. Go thru a tunnel. He casts escape, then he tells me to sneak & invis. Couple of seconds later we are at the staging point. That was mad fast. After a few mins he had to go. I threw up my seek sign hoping to get a party for an hour at least before linkshell event. I do get one with Thesage in Aydeewa Subterrane. We killed crawlers & spiders. We weren't making a whole lot of exp on each but we were chaining like crazy. The people seemed really nice. I would party with them again, but alas I forgot their names. Once it was really close to my linkshell event, I had to leave. I wished them well. I go to the Mea telecrag cause we gonna take another stab at finishing COP-Mea. All who came were Frizzlefry, Kirinkage, Cyre, Loquat, Sketch, and Charion. That made 7 of us. So we decided to have the BLMs (Cyre & Charion) take turns. So we head on our way once everyone was together. We formed an alliance. Somehow in climbing the floors we lost Cyre & Charion. Then we saw them somewhere we had no access to. We spent like 2 hours trying to get everyone together. Cyre escaped and reentered, but Charion couldn't escape with him since he was not in the same party as Cyre. So Charion was left on the otherside & we got Cyre. Then Charion died. So we just told him to hp and we'll get him on the next run. So now we got everyone together. Tempers were short. We get to boss. We go in. We won on the first try. Hot damn. I even got 1500 experience. We were ecstatic. We left all happy. Cyre escaped us. Frizzle said a Beseiged is starting in 20 mins. I said I'm going, so was Frizzle and Cyre. So we head on choco to the closest OP so we can teleport home & tele to Whitegate for Beseiged. We got there in time. I got 3 other people to join party. I skilled up and got 781 experience. Overall today was an excellent night. I got a lot accomplished.

Shiva Beseiged a Mea

As a linkshell, we thought it would be good to have weekly mission/events for our members to accomplish goals. So today was our first try at doing Chains of Promythia (COP) Promyvian- Mea. We ended up going to the broken teleport at the telecrag in Tahrongi. So we head in all 7 of us (Kainbelmont-BLM, Naquel-MNK, Frizzlefry-WAR, Nimotas_THF, Loquat-WHM, Sketch-NIN, and I-RDM). Kain didn't join fight for first fight. He stayed outside to guide us. We wiped the first time. Naquel bounced after the first attempt, so Kain ended up replacing him. We wiped 4 more times. Making us wipe 5 times for the night. We got frustrated so we left and didn't try a 6th time. Since we wiped, I had the urge to kill something. I realized that my fame for San D was 6, so I wanted to try to get Shiva avatar for my SMN. I was able to recruit Thesage-SMN, Frizzle-PLD, Kainbelmont-BLM and Rhelic-WHM. So we head to Fei'Yin to the battle arena. We go in to fight. The fight seemed easy. It went really quick. I casted a lot of Fire II's on her. At end I got the ability to summnon Shiva as well as Rhelic. I think everyone else took the gil. So Kain warped everyone home. I ran to guy to finish quest. I then went to my mog house, changed job to SMN and threw on any gear that I could use for my level. I ran to W Ronf to summon Shiva. I just wanted to see her and test her out. She's able to do Axe Kick and cast Blizzard II. But she takes a lot of MP though. I came back in from W Ronf in time to make it for Beseiged. I changed back to RDM and teleported to Whitegate. I need to level up my Dark magic skills. So I got my dark up maybe 3 levels. Beseiged was short. I only died twice. That's a new record for me. Overall, today was a good day even with the wipe of Promy-Mea.
