Trials of Life

Life has really been keeping me busy, my friends. So I will try to post weekly instead of each time I play. I really can't keep up with posting like that. Maybe after April 15th. ~.-

Dynamis:
We did dynamis Xarcabard on Sunday past. It was not a great run. Only great thing happened was that the RDM hat dropped twice. Of course I didn't get any. My usual thing. My only displeasure with dyna. Undercover RDMs outbid me all the time. If I actually knew how many
RDMs there are I could make a decent bid.   I know other LS says you can bid on your main job gear first.

Anyway, because of he RDM hat drop drama happened in LS. 3 people left the shell over the 1st drop. If they just calmed down they could've had the second drop. Oh well, impatience does not reward. Trust me I know this by heart.

The most horrendic part of he night was that I died like 5 times. I was in DD party where I was only curing (no one needed refresh :D). Died twice in that party. Then they made me go to tank party where I had to heal and refresh all. In that party, died 3 times. I hate dying on my RDM lately.

Farming:
Trying to do the next Gobbie quest and there are 2 items that I need: iolite and HQ eft skin. I know I can farm both of them. So I decided to farm the eft skin first. Titen asked if he could help. I said sure. So I assumed he would be a THF/NIN or /DNC so I didn't /THF. A 75 THF is 20 times better than THF 15, you think?

Anyway, I meet him at Bibiki Bay. He's wearing orange!!! Not a very good sign. THFs are green!! He came orange which meant he was MNK/DNC. Damn it! That means we will be at this until I
wear out or get frustratingly bored. We annihilate the place, no HQ eft skin. We attained regular eft skin. Bah!! I'll cough up the gil, unless I get a THF 75 to help me out.



Maat
Haven't tried him sorry.

Leveling
I leveled my BLM to 12. I duo'd with Naquel. Haven't seen him in a while. He's no longer in my LS. He apparently ruffles some people's feathers but he don't bother me at all. I get along with everyone. Ok, mostly everyone.

We worked 2 FOV pages and made our way thru Giddeus. I was lacking gear for my BLM when we started, but I got free gear from the Yags there. Yay for free gear!! I did die once though. Had to HP and run back. Naq and I were the squishy team. He was WHM/BLM and I was the opposite. He didn't die at all.

Fame
Been trying to work the quests, but it's just not easy man. I am still in middle of synergy quest for Bastok and a quest regarding smooth stone for Windy. Getting cornettes or other items for Windy fame are not easy as for Norg. I kill every Mandragora type mob I see. I also plan on doing the quests for Tele-Mea, Tele-Dem and Drain. I believe they all are for Windy.

Missions
Haven't tried COP 3-5 again and I did start mission 4-1 Windy. Lordkaosu moved to Windy now, so maybe we can get Rank 10 together. We'll see. People like leaving me behind since I'm not on a lot.

It's About Time....... Right?

Okay it's been a while that I have posted. This is my busy season as I stated before. Taxes and such, yay! So much for my gaming life. I'm going to break up my adventures in categories that way you can get a gist what I've been up to. There can be days in between but I'm summizing what has occurred.

Maat:
I decided to try my luck at Maat again after a hiatus of trying. Itdidn't go so swell. Normally I'm close to a win, but this try was likemy first couple of runs. The minute he saw me, he didn't sleep and he thundered me and asurian fist me. Instant death. I was trying the strategy to run in sleep him then put on my buffs. This way he didn't put on any of his buffs. Well it was a great thought that didn't come into fruition.

COP:
We tried to do mission 3-5. We got Zannon and Frizzlefry to help us(me, Kirinkage, Lordkaosu and Solesiren). Our other member Gunrockwent ahead and did 3-5 the day we all did 3-3. We tried him like 5
times. We nearly won once. Sole and Kirin both fell when the floor fell away during fights. We would've tried again but most of thepeople had to go to Sky. Next time we try, we need 2 DRKs instead of one. Or a BLU. Anyone with Stun ability. Diabalos is pretty tough. But at least he's one person and not 3.

Leveling:
I leveled BLM to 10. I now have some intereztig spells to work with now. My BLM will be a bit gimp because I am not buying/questing anyaga spells. I may just get sleepga only. Job is only going to 37. I want retrace & warps only. Only reason I'm leveling it as a sub. That and not having to be main healer in some parties.

Skill Ups:
Been FOV'in in Terrigan with Titen while leveling Romidant. First time with Titen, he had to run to camp a turtle in Valley of Sorrows. I decided to try a bunny. Hey if I was able to handle a crab on my own, I should be able to handle a bunny right? Wrong. I had to call for help. Romidant was doing better than myself. I also think my downfall in that fight was I was not paying 100% attention to the fight. I had like 3 people sending me tells and my ls was heating up with good chatter.

The second time we were able to do 2 pages. Romi leveled to 34 (yes, Idon't level him often). My sword skill reached 203 and I learned Vorpal Blade weaponskill; even though I can't use it as a RDM. Titen said that my sword will cap at 250. 47 levels to go.

Fame:
Been doing quests here and there trying to get fame, but it's moving slowly. Items for repeat quests aren't dropping. I started Synergy quest with Kirin. We never completed the quest though. I will probably get Diabalos before I get Ramuh, Ifrit, Titan and Fenrir. We do know Fenerir was going to be last anyway. Have to do fights over again. For all the standard avatars except Diabolos. I will probably help Kakida with Shiva and Garuda to get those whispers.

Dynamis:
Haven't done dynamis in 2 weeks. Last Sunday was Qufim and I don't have access yet. The last one I believe I did was Xarcabard. Again, I didn't get anything since my gloves in Bastok. Oh well. Today there isn't any dynamis because of the Super Bowl. Hopefully at next run Ican get a piece of gear for RDM or SMN. And maybe I'll pass 3-5 by then too.

Now we come to depressing news. My internet is wonky. I am losing packets. So over past week or so we'vr been getting Dc'd a lot. So Cablevision is coming again to try to solve the issue.

Decent Challenges All The Way

I finally got on game. It's a good long time that I've gotten on the game. I missed everyone.

So what to do? It was Watersday when I got on the game. So I decided I'd wait out for Darksday to try Maat again. So I decided to head into Rolanberry Fields to sell these 3 Tuku Whiteshells. Just as I got comfortable in the flee market there, my shells sold. So I ran to the auction house to get potions for fight. I then went back to my mog house and waited it out. My moogle was going crazy after a while. He was just spinning in circles for an hour. Lol. Needless to say I went to fight Maat. I'm 0/10 now & I'm pissed off. I am tired of hunting for tests and failing fights. Just annoyed as hell.

So I'm back in Windy. So what to do? I don't want to play RDM and I don't have enough fame for my SMN. I might as well level some of my subs per requests of players. So I messed with BLM again. I change into my level 1 gear and headed out to E Sarutabaruta to fight. I did 3 FOV's and I leveled 3 times to level 7. I didn't touch any easy prey. I annihilated all Decent Challenges. I almost died twice, but I still knocked it out. I say I did very well on my own. GO TK!!!!!

On to some sad business. I am leaving to spend the holidays with my father. So I will not be on game until the new year. I have the game on my dad's computer, but I doubt I'll have time to play the game. So I am bidding everyone a Happy Holidays and a Great New Year. I hope to see everyone in the New Year.

My Slight Involvement in The Great

Monday:
I get on without any plans. I didn't want to party. I thought about
doing my Maat fight. I changed my mind because I didn't want to
concentrate so hard. I also was trying to make a static party for
Chains of Promethia (COP) missions. So I made a LS message in
ClanBelmont. I also announced it ValorKingdom and StormysKnights. I
already have 3 and that includes me. I have a tank and 1 damage
dealer. I need 2 more dds and 1 healer (someone who can assist in
healing).

So I made up my mind and decided if Frizzlefry was free to do Wings
missions. He was game. We met in South San D. He asked if Kirinkage
was coming since we all were doing it together. I feel a bit bad
because Phaet was also working with us on them. Unfortunately his time
is taken up by his LS RocDynasty.

Kirinkage was heping our friend Kakida get a nation in the past.
Frizzy ended up going to help them get to San D from Vunkle something.
So I was left by myself. So I decided to do a campaign op in E
Ronfaure S. I get to area for battle. I buff up and put reraise on.
The campaign music starts but there aren't any Orcs coming. At least I
thought. Then out of nowhere an Orc was in front of me. I was down in
3 hits. I didn't even see Orc coming. I'm glad I had reraise on. I
looked around my dead body to see if I can raise. The coast looked
clear. Just as I hit yes, an Orc walked right over me as I rose turned
and cold clocked me. I was dead again. Luckily my bro was near and
came to raise me. Kakida got to see a campaign battle for a minute
before he and Kirin ran off to San D to get him allegiance. I
continued to heal and join Frizzy who participated in the battle. I
teleported back to San D. We showed Kakida how to get missions and
such. Kirin and Frizzy went to do some mission in Battalia Downs and I
stayed with Kakida. I was going to get him to do a Campain Op so he
get some Allied Notes.

So I walked Kakida to the tower for battle. One wasn't starting. So I
decided to go kill Orcs while we wait. So we head south on the map to
find some Orcs.We definitely found them. Unfortunately they were
lumped together. So as I was trying to magic pull ons, a campaign
battle started. So we ditched he plan and ran back to tower. We got
Kakida his allied tags and we waited for Orcs to come to us. This
time I was prepared. My buffs were up and waiting. The Orcs arrived
and we did damage. At some point Frizzy and Kirin joined us again.
After battle Frizzy had to go pal around with his friend. We took
Kakida back to get the rest of his allied notes. After that we got him
to umlock maw in E Ronf. I went back to Mog house to log off.

Tuesday:
I got on to do more seeking for COP static members. I couldn't find
any so I really was bored. I didn't want to Maat fight because my
brother was in the mood to harrass me. You know, what little bros do
time to time. So I decided to try out BLM. I changed into level 1 gear
and I got a staff from Ciddester/Panzer. He said I could keep staff.
So I ran to E Ronf to level. I got to level 4 before I called it a
night. I even did a FOV. I had to get me some tabs. I love to use
Repatriation. I'm lazy in transportation. BLM is cool but it's almost
like my RDM though well at this level. Oh well. Another night.
